Flower Pot Island / Fathom Five National Marine Park
Flowerpot Island is an island in Georgian Bay, in the Canadian province of Ontario and is a part of Fathom Five National Marine Park. The island spans 2.1 kilometres (1.3 mi) from east to west, and 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from north to south, and has a total area of 2 square kilometres (490 acres). The name of the island comes from two rock pillars on its eastern shore, which look like flower pots. The island is accessible only by boat.

Flowerpot Island is located three miles north-east of Tobermory, Ontario. The Blue Heron Co. Ltd of Tobermory offers transportation to the island via high speed Zodiacs and by glass-bottom tour boats.

Flowerpot Island is accessible only by boat, just 6.5 km off the coast of Tobermory|Ontario. A calling for naturalists, photographers, hikers, campers & boaters. It is famous for the two natural rock pillars that gives the island its name. A main trail runs along the rock-rimmed shore to its namesake flowerpots and loop back through the interior.

The crystal clear emerald green, pearl blue, and turquoise waters of the Georgian Bay, combined with the more than 40 shipwrecks, has given Tobermory its reputation of diving capital of North America, and freshwater diving capital of the world.
