Feature: A Visit To The Ferrari Factory In Maranello
Ferrari Factory Tour
Today’s Ferrari Family Day has attracted record attendance numbers. Chairman John Elkann welcomed over 24,000 people to the now-traditional event which sees employees, their families and friends visit the Ferrari factory in Maranello and the Carrozzeria Scaglietti in Modena.
The leitmotif running right through the day is the SF90 Stradale, the marque’s first production hybrid car. Several different versions of the model are on display along a visitor route that illustrates the design, innovations and exceptional characteristics that have justifiably seen the model dubbed a ‘production supercar’.
The various departments in which the latter model and the other Ferraris are built are also open to visitors: from the buildings where designers and engineers craft our designs to the foundry, the Car Assembly area, and the Fiorano Track where all Prancing Horse models are developed before being dispatched to over 60 countries around the world. The visitors also got to admire at first-hand the other cars in the range and the F1 single-seaters of past and present.
Open to visitors today too are the Ferrari Classiche department, a workshop where our classic and veteran cars are maintained and restored, the Gestione Sportiva racing division, which is headquarters of the Scuderia Ferrari, and the new buildings for the Prototype Construction and the new Style Centre, which has been home to Ferrari’s design and personalisation activities for the last year.
These are the areas where some 4,000 professionals work together as a team to reconcile innovation and quality of life in line with the principles of Formula Uomo: constant commitment without which exceptional cars of the likes of the SF90 Stradale simply would not be possible.
To mirror the company’s commitment to sustainability, single-use plastics and food waste have both been reduced to a minimum. Excess meals will be delivered to Food for Good, a project run in collaboration with the not-for-profit organisations Banco Alimentare and Equo Evento Onlus.

Driving in Maranello, Italy - Ferrari factory, Museo Ferrari, Cavallino, Pista di Fiorano [1080p HD]
A drive through Maranello in Italy in a red Ferrari 360 Spider. Starting at Hotel Maranello Village, a hotel and apartments where a lot of Ferrari employees stay. After a short drive on the freeway, we enter Maranello and drive to the wind tunnel at the Ferrari factory. You can also see the big Prancing Horse statue on the roundabout here and the Maranello Palace hotel. Then we drive past the Planet Hotel, the Ferrari Store, the famous ristorante Cavallino and ofcourse the Ferrari factory main gate.
We drive further to the back gate of the Ferrari factory where the testcars and customer cars leave the gates. Then off to the Museo Ferrari parking where you can rent Ferrari's at Push Start next to the Warm-Up Ferrari store.
Last part of this video you can see the Gilles Villeneuve monument and the gates of the Pista di Fiorano test track.

675LT and FF Visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello
After an amazing day at Monza, we jump back into the 675LT and FF and head on the road to Maranello, the home of Ferrari. As it's the weekend that means there isn't much open but we are able to re-visit the museum and take a look around at some pretty special displays including a feature with LaFerrari, FXX K, SP12-EC, SP America, F60 America and F12 TRS. In addition we test out their new simulator which gives a really rather exciting experience!
The highlight of my day, the epic upshift exhaust crack in the tunnel on the way to our hotel late on!
Next will be a trip to Pagani before hitting the final leg to Monaco!

Ferrari - Maranello, Modena, Italy [4K] ????????
Explore Museo Ferrari (previously known as Galleria Ferrari) is a #Ferrari company #museum dedicated to the Ferrari sports car marque. The museum is not purely for cars; there are also trophies, photographs and other historical objects relating to the Italian motor racing industry. In addition to that, the exhibition introduces technological innovations, some of which had made the transition from racing cars to road cars.
It is located just 300 m from the Ferrari factory in Ferrari's home town of #Maranello, near #Modena, #Italy.
The museum first opened in February 1990, with a new wing being added in October 2004. Ferrari itself has run the museum since 1995. The total surface area is now 2,500 square metres. The number of annual visitors to the museum is around 180,000.
The exhibits are mostly a combination of Ferrari road and track cars. Many of Ferrari's most iconic cars from throughout its history are present in the museum.
