Gillette Castle State Park || Connecticut
Gillette Castle State Park was an awesome place to explore inside and also the surrounding area! There are plenty of hiking trails and tons of historic information to absorb while visiting the area.
Check out more information about Gillette Castle State Park on our website:
On this adventure we headed east in Connecticut towards the Connecticut River. At the time we knew very little about the location we were heading to, but when all the images of the park centered around a castle, we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Gillette Caste State Park is a very unique park that revolves around an American actor-manager, playwright, and stage-manager's past. If you head there in present time however, the castle feels very much alive.
Adventure On!

Connecticut
Connecticut (/kəˈnɛtɨkət/, kuh-NET-i-kət) is the southernmost state in the northeastern region of the United States known as New England. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south. Its capital city is Hartford. The state is named after the Connecticut River, a major U.S. river that approximately bisects the state. The word is derived from various anglicized spellings of an Algonquian word for long tidal river.
Connecticut is the third smallest state by area, the 29th most populous, and the fourth most densely populated of the 50 United States. Called the Constitution State, Nutmeg State, and The Land of Steady Habits, it was influential in the development of the federal government of the United States. Much of southern and western Connecticut (along with the majority of the state's population) is part of the New York metropolitan area: three of Connecticut's eight counties are statistically included in the New York City combined statistical area, which is widely referred to as the Tri-State area. Connecticut's center of population is in Cheshire, New Haven County, which is also located within the Tri-State area.

New London CT. Bill and US Customs House Design-Fireproofing Techniques
New London, CT has a National Treasure that I highly recommend people visit first before they do any other sight seeing in the New London, Groton, Mystic areas. The National Treasure's name is Bill. He works in the US Custom's House. There is a museum there that is simply incredible. What made a particularly fantastic experience was...Bill. He tailored my visit to what I was interested in, asked me how much time I could spend with him, then he took me on an adventure. My time there was simply the high point of my entire trip. I spent over 2 hours with Bill. It was a real pleasure.

The Hoia-Baciu forest is a fascinating place. Once you cross its boundaries, you find yourself immersed in a world of magic that truly captivates your mind. Although it lays a few kilometers away from the city of Cluj-Napoca, the heart of Transylvania, it still holds a wild, untamed spirit, which reminds us of the importance that nature holds in our lives. Locals nearby are familiar with the strange energies contained inside. The phenomena manifested there, beyond their power of understanding, prompted them not to ask reckless questions. Because of fear, the forest remained, for a long period of time, shrouded in mystery. The place itself is a mythical source of lore and legends. In this episode we explore some of the most important unsolved cases.

???? Full Time RV Sedona & Jerome Arizona | RV Living!
We arrived in the Sedona area the first week in April 2019. This was Chad’s first time here and Tara hadn’t been to Sedona in over 20 years, so we were pretty excited.
⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Click Show More ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
We decided to stay a little outside of Sedona, so we could be closer to Jerome and also because it was a little less expensive to stay outside of the main touristy areas.
We stayed in Camp Verde at Verde River RV Resort. We were hesitant to book this park at first because the reviews weren’t the greatest. After looking into it a bit more, we found out that the park was under new management. We decided to give this place a try and are pleased with our decision. The sites were large and the park had some amenities like a pool, putt-putt, and dog parks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
We were very excited to explore this beautiful area on Lucille, our 2017 Indian Roadmaster.

The first major settlements were established in the 1630s by the English. Thomas Hooker led a band of followers overland from the Massachusetts Bay Colony and founded the Connecticut Colony; other settlers from Massachusetts founded the Saybrook Colony and the New Haven Colony. The Connecticut and New Haven colonies established documents of Fundamental Orders, considered the first constitutions in North America. In 1662, the three colonies were merged under a royal charter, making Connecticut a crown colony. This was one of the Thirteen Colonies that rejected British rule in the American Revolution.
