Flags & Wheels Indoor Racing and Entertainment
A commercial we produced for Flags and Wheels Indoor Racing and all around fun place.
Flags and Wheels, Cold as hell, and still racing :)
The title pretty much explains itself. It was cold, the track was slick, and I spun out atleast three times... the first one really sucked. I was coming around the end of the S-Turn, and smacked the barrior head on. Other than that, life was good...

Cart City
Cart City is a short documentary which focuses on a nuance of unhoused life that is often overlooked; one that may add to conversations circling around the crisis with housing and homelessness that California finds itself in currently. This documentary was inspired by a video aired years ago, 2013 or so; the video was a news clip that had been circulating of Hawaii state representative Tom Brower going around his district with a sledgehammer, dismantling the carts homeless use; Brower saw this as a solution. This piece aims to focus on the utility of the carts and their importance to unhoused individuals on the streets.
This piece was filmed over a year on Stockton Blvd in Sacramento, California.
All work on this film by Karlos Rene Ayala.

Rapid City South Dakota billboards come down
This nonconforming structure, with two billboards on each side, was on a hill on the road to Mount Rushmore National Monument inside the Rapid City limits. It took away from the scenic beauty of the beautiful Black Hills.
The billboard was purchased by a local development company, Dream Designs, Inc. in Rapid City, SD, so that they could take it down and redevelop the property with something more sightly!
Race Relations in Rapid City South Dakota
This statue used to be posted up in front of a non-native owned Indian crafts and gift shop located in the heart of downtown Rapid City South Dakota. It is no longer their claim to fame. - narration by Ben Jinkins, community advocate with Native Impact, formally The Western South Dakota Native American Organizing Project. - filmed December 2007
Mount Rushmore and Oreville Campground --- Joyful Camping
What a fun time at MOUNT RUSHMORE!!! It was so exciting to visit this national monument. We made a long weekend of the visit and did activities in the area as well. If you have a chance to visit the monument I highly recommend taking the trip.
We stayed at Oreville Campground which was a nice (very short) drive to the monument and the campground itself was very peaceful. Although right by the main road we really didn't notice the road noise.

Downtown Rapid City
This was some experimental footage I took. It was definitely shaky-cam so I used image stabilization and thought I would throw it up here for what it's worth. Plus, I'm too tired to make a coherent note-taking video the way I'm supposed to. State Science Olympiad wore me down.

South Dakota Hwy Patrol; Don't Jerk & Drive
Subscribe to my Youtube Channel?
Jerking isn't a joke and they know it.
Unfortunately for the South Dakota office of Highway Safety, some people think their new safe-driving campaign around the slogan don't jerk and drive was a bad idea.
The ad campaign, intended to keep people from over correcting and jerking their steering wheels in icy conditions, struck some as offensive because of its allusion to masturbation.” *
