Touring the San Diego Bay with Flagship Cruises
During the weekend in San Diego, we got to cruise around the bay with Flagship Cruises. I had never been there before, we had a great time learning about all the points of interest around the bay. We also got to see some of the NAVY ships stationed there alongside with some from our partner countries. Really interesting stuff. I highly recommend you take a tour with them.

Flagship 100 Year Anniversary
Originally founded on May 1, 1915, Flagship Cruises and Events has been celebrating San Diego for over 100 years. To learn more, visit or call (619) 234-4111.
Flagship Cruises & Events began as a ferry company with owners Oakley J. Hall and Rufus Creswell at the helm. In 1986, The Engel brothers–Art, Herb and David–purchased the then Star & Crescent Boat Company from the Hall family, continuing the company’s family-owned legacy and growing the fleet to offer a broader array of charter, cruise and event options. To reflect this expansion, the company changed its name to San Diego Harbor Excursion in 1990, and then to Flagship Cruises & Events in 2011.
Today, Flagship Cruises & Events continues to be San Diego’s only locally- and family-owned yacht charter, cruise and event company. Flagship’s premier fleet of luxury yachts is available for a wide variety of experiences on San Diego’s sparkling waters, including nightly gourmet dinner cruises, exhilarating whale watching excursions, harbor tours, ferry and water taxi services, corporate events and thrilling rides on Flagship’s new jet boat, the Patriot.

San Diego (pronounced /ˌsændiˈeɪgoʊ/), named after Saint Didacus (Didacus of Alcalá) in Spanish, is the second-largest city in California and the eighth largest city in the United States, located along the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of the United States. The California Department of Finance estimates the city's population at 1,353,993 as of January 1st 2009.[2] This coastal city is also the county seat of San Diego County[3] as well as the economic center of the San DiegoCarlsbadSan Marcos metropolitan area. As of 2008, this metropolitan area is the 17th-largest in the United States with a population of 3,001,072 and the 38th-largest metropolitan area in the Americas when including Tijuana, Mexico. According to Forbes the city of San Diego ranks as the fifth wealthiest in the United States.[4] Tourism remains San Diego's third-biggest industry, behind manufacturing and the military.
San Diego's economy is largely composed of agriculture, biotechnology/biosciences, computer sciences, electronics manufacturing, defense-related manufacturing, financial and business services, ship-repair and construction, software development, telecommunications, and tourism. The presence of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) with the affiliated UCSD Medical Center promotes research in biotechnology
Military bases in San Diego include U.S. Navy ports, Marine Corps bases, and Coast Guard stations. Marine Corps institutions in San Diego include Marine Corps Air Station Miramar and Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The Navy has several institutions in the city, including Naval Base Point Loma, Naval Base San Diego (also known as the 32nd Street Naval Station), Bob Wilson Naval Hospital, and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego. Close by San Diego but within San Diego County is Naval Air Station North Island (which operates Naval Auxiliary Landing Facility San Clemente Island, Silver Strand Training Complex, and the Outlying Field Imperial Beach). San Diego is also known as the birthplace of naval aviation, although Pensacola, Florida makes a rival claim.
San Diego is the site of one of the largest naval fleets in the world, and San Diego has become the largest concentration of Naval facilities in the world due to base reductions at Norfolk, Virginia and retrenchment of the Russian naval base in Vladivostok. Two of the U.S. Navy's Nimitz class supercarriers, (the USS Nimitz and the USS Ronald Reagan), five amphibious assault ships, several Los Angeles-class fast attack submarines, the Hospital Ship USNS Mercy, carrier and submarine tenders, destroyers, cruisers, frigates, and many smaller ships are home-ported there. Four Navy vessels have been named USS San Diego in honor of the city.
(source:WikipediaCoronado is an affluent city in San Diego County, California, United States. The population was 24,100 at the 2000 census. Coronado is Spanish for the crowned one, and thus it is nicknamed The Crown City. In the early days a tourist/vacation area just south of the Hotel Del Coronado was established and named Tent City. Over the years the tents gave way to cottages, the last of which was torn down at the end of 1940, or early 1941. The City, itself, was never known as Tent City. The city is a very popular tourist destination for both local and non-San Diegans alike. The small island resort-town prides itself on its small town atmosphere and uptown social environment. However, over the years, tensions between the Coronado Police and younger residents have continued to rise. The district is one of the most expensive places to reside in California, San Diego County and the nation

NEW VIDEOS EVERY FRIDAY & SATURDAY!
---------------------------------------------
The Royal Merchant Ship Queen Mary was to be the flagship of the Cunard-White Star Cruise Line when she was launched in 1936. There are many ghost stories about the Queen Mary. With so many of them, in fact, it might be fair to say that she has become one of the most haunted ships in the world. These ghost stories suggest that the ship is filled with cold spots, disembodied voices, and phantom figures. Ghost hunters now flock to the ship and it’s not hard to see why. One thing we can say about the Queen Mary is that she has truly made an impact on our cultural narrative, whether she is dominating history or playing a major role in paranormal lore. Let’s take a look at seven ghost stories of the RMS Queen Mary.

Hey guys, welcome back to our channel! It's been a little bit since we've vlogged and uploaded a video. Tyson has been in the field and I have just been working trying to make that money! ;) In today's vlog Tyson and I head down to San Diego for a cruise on the Horn Blower! We did a Sight and Sip Cruise which was super fun! It was a two hour cruise watching the sunset and they offered drinks and light snacks and there was music and dancing! We had such a good time. Then of course we just walked around and enjoyed ourselves for the rest of the night. This was our first date night since Tyson had got back to the field. We definitely recommend the Sight and Sip Cruise. Check out Horn Blowers website! Thanks so much for watching, we hope you enjoyed the video!! :)
