Garuda Indonesia (officially PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk IDX: GIAA) is the national airline of Indonesia. The airline is headquartered at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, near Jakarta. In 2014, it was announced that the airline would be rated as a 5-star airline by the international airline review firm Skytrax.[3] The air carrier was previously known as Garuda Indonesian Airways.
Founded in 1947 as KLM Interinsulair Bedrijf, the airline is now a major airline and the 20th member of the global airline alliance SkyTeam. It is the second largest airline of Indonesia after Lion Air and it operates scheduled flights to a number of destinations in Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Europe from its main hub in Jakarta, Soekarno–Hatta International Airport, as well as services to Australia and Asia from Ngurah Rai International Airport (Bali) and a large number of domestic flights from both Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (Makassar) and Kualanamu International Airport (Medan).[4]

Garuda Indonesia Flight Experience: GA832 Jakarta to Singapore
Garuda Indonesia flight experience from Jakarta to Singapore, onboard PK-GNG, a Boeing 737-8U3 with Boeing Sky Interior cabin.
Even with the gloomy weather at Jakarta, the flight experience was a very pleasant experience. Garuda Indonesia hospitality began at boarding with the cabin crew warmly welcoming passengers with a traditional clasped hands greeting.
After ascending above the dark clouds, the view up above is very bright and welcoming. I decided on Indonesian style rice for my meal and it was a delicious choice. What a cultural bliss to be able to pair tasty Indonesian cuisine with a good Indonesian movie!
During landing, I am happy to be treated to Singapore's metropolitan cityscape.

FLIGHT REVIEW:
The check in experience with Garuda Indonesia was quick and efficient. I was granted my preferable window seat. The boarding process was done efficiently.
The cabin was nice and clean. This Airbus A330-200 aircraft has comfortable 2-4-2 seating arrangement and generous 33-34 inches seat pitch.
The inflight snack is appreciated for this short flight followed by your choice of cold and hot beverages.
The cabin crews were very cheerful and accommodating to all passengers. The Skytrax’s recognition on their performance of “World’s Best Cabin Crew 2014 & 2015 are definitely not in vain.
Overall, the flight with Garuda Indonesia was memorable. The Indonesian hospitality was well carried out by the friendly cabin crew.
I would rate this flight experience with Garuda Indonesia GA318 :

Hallo Teman-Teman
Apa Kabar semuanyaa??
Alhamdulillah, kali ini saya berkesempatan untuk kembali merasakan terbang lagi dari Malang ke Jakarta dengan menggunakan pesawat Garuda Indonesia dengan nomor penerbangan GA 293.
Ada suatu hal yang mengharuskan saya tiba di Jakarta sebelum jam 6 sore sedangkan pagi harinya ada kelas perkuliahan yang tidak bisa ditinggalkan sehingga pesawat menjadi pilihan terakhir bagi saya karena alasan waktu. Jadi, flight trip kali ini bukan karena ingin menikmati perjalanannya, tapi lebih karena kepepet :D
Itung-itung kepepet tapi ingin juga merasakan nikmatnya terbang di siang hari, saya memutuskan untuk terbang dengan Garuda Indonesia dengan nomor GA 293 yang akan diberangkatkan dari Bandara Abdurachman Saleh pukul 13.10 WIB jika sesuai jadwal. Alasannya saya memilih Garuda Indonesia adalah, karena saat itu saya mendapatkan potongan harga dari Traveloka yang dimana harga setelah potongan sama dengan beberapa maskapai lainnya, jadi lah saya memilih maskapai ini untuk terbang kali ini. Maskapai Kebanggaan Indonesia~
Untuk service, karena maskapai ini menerapkan layanan Full Service Airline, jadi untuk semua service dapat dibilang cukup lengkap. Namun sayang saja, in-flight meal yang disediakan hanya berupa snack saja. Mungkin karena alasan jam penerbangannya tidak melewati waktu makan dan penerbangan ini masih dibawah 1,5 jam jadi tidak ada in-flight meal makanan berat. Tapi untuk semuanya, saya rasa ini sudah cukup memuaskan.

This is the last flight from Jakarta to Solo with Lion Air. Departing from the Terminal 3 was a great thing as i could explore the terminal and did some plane spotting too. The boarding call was on time and we bused to our operating aircraft all the way to cargo terminal.
The aircraft featured luxurious Boeing Sky Interior which i love. The legroom on this Boeing 737-800 series is very spacious. Does not feel like a low cost airline at all.
**I would rate this flight experience with Lion Air JT530:
1. Seat: 9/10
2. Cabin Crew: 8/10
3. Ambience: 9/10
4. Value for Money: 9/10
