This was a great simple hike with lots to see in Franconia, NH. I shot this footage with my phantom 2 drone with my gopro 3 attached to it. I also took my drone on the top of Franconia ridge trail, but was in a very windy cloud the whole time.

Amazing view of New Hampshire during Fall season. We have been there for 2 days. We reached on 12th Oct night and came back 14 th 2018 . It was a wonderful trip and enjoyed a lot . I have tried to capture all the experience with this video.
New Hampshire is the best place to go during fall. Nobody could imagine until he/she visit there . the full view of the places are so colorful you will think this is the heaven .
My suggesting will be check the peak time ( and book either hotel or airbnb (if you are in a group then airbnb is best )well in advance.

The walls of Conway granite rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet and are 12 to 20 feet apart.
The visit includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses found here.

PLEASE NOTE: The photographer was nowhere near the moose and was safe on a manmade boardwalk. They were not blocking its path. The moose could not have exited in their direction as they are standing on top of a sheer cliff. The moose was not in danger. It simply turns around and goes out the way it came.

The Flume Gorge is a natural gorge extending 800 feet horizontally at the base of Mount Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire. Cut by the Flume Brook, the gorge features walls of Conway granite that rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet, and are 12 to 20 feet apart. Discovered in 1808 by 93-year-old Aunt Jess Guernsey, the Flume is now a paid attraction that allows visitors to walk through the gorge.

The Flume Gorge is located at Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire, USA. According to the park pamphlet, the Flume Gorge was discovered in 1808 by 93-year-old Aunt Jess Guernsey. If you like nature, waterfalls and hiking this is a great place to visit. The sounds and wisps of cool air created by the swift water action delivers a natural theraputic experience. The two mile (3.2 km) hike in and out consists of some steep areas, and you will have renewed respect for your heart, thighs, ankles and feet. The Flume Gorge was essentially there for 200 million years, but it came into the shape it is in now after many years of erosion and with the flowing of Flume Brook after the last ice age 14,000 years ago.
Even though this was filmed May 18, 2013 you will see that there was still ice in a feature called the Wolf Den.

Franconia Notch State Park is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway which extends from the Flume Gorge at the south to Echo Lake at the north. For eight miles, I-93 winds between the high peaks of the Kinsman and Franconia mountain ranges.

A trip into the Flume begins and ends at the Flume Visitor's Center. Guests can choose to walk through just the Gorge or do a two mile loop. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs.
