Wanted to go hiking. As it was in the midst of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally we decided we'd go to Chadron State Park and indeed, there were very few others there.

Our trip to #FortRobinson state park was packed full of adventure and discovery. We stopped by #Carhenge on the way North from Scottsbluff, took a historical tour of the park, visited the Clash of the Mamoths, and went on a Chuck Wagon dinner!

Toadstool Geologic Park is located in the Oglala National Grassland in far northwestern Nebraska. It is operated by the United States Forest Service. Wildfire of 2012 Chadron, Crawford, Pine Ridge Nebraska 75,000 acres 93 sq miles *NEW*
The fire between Chadron and Rushville in the northwest corner of the state grew by Saturday to more than 93 square miles _ an area bigger than Nebraska's state capital of Lincoln.
This video was taken on Deadhorse Road. This is only a small fraction of the damage caused by this fire. Thank you to all the Firemen that protected our families and our structures.
