Alabama Frontier Days at Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson Park, Wetumpka, AL
Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson Park, a historic property of the Alabama Historical Commission, hosts the Alabama Frontier Days each year in November (always starts the first Wed in November)
Experience one of the largest and most authentic living history events in Alabama! See the south as it transitioned from Creek Indian lands to military forts and civilian homesteads from 1700 to 1820. Using Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson Park as its historical backdrop, Alabama Frontier Days focuses on demonstrating frontier life during the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries as it happened at this historic site. The public can experience this living history as many frontier crafts and trades are demonstrated by specialists dressed in historic costume.
This snapshot of frontier life includes Creek Indians, French soldiers and their families, British traders who lived among the Creeks and American soldiers who fought in Andrew Jackson’s army during the Creek War. Additionally, there will be a cannon demonstration and period entertainment featuring an eighteenth-century magician, strolling balladeers and musicians as well as merchants selling reproductions of items used on the frontier.
Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for children (6-18 years old) and free for children under six. Vendors sell food onsite throughout the event.

Wetumpka, AL Aerial Video
This video is taken from high above the farthest south portion of the Appalachian Mountain Range in a city named Wetumpka, AL. The take off point from which this video was created is a street named Bald Knob Road, 36093 zip code. This is the highest elevation road in the area that has a clear view of Montgomery and Wetumpka. In this video you can see Highway 231 and the brand new Wind Creek Casino in downtown Wetumpka area. I took this from a lot that is for sale that I want to buy along Bald Knob Rd. My Yorkie dogs name is Riley that you see in the video. No audio, just a peaceful lookaround. Sorry for how I am dressed in the wife beater but I wasn't thinking of impressing anyone and I wanted to get some sun on my pale body.
