Another 90° day in the high country deserts of Colorado so Molly just had to come out to Sweitzer Lake to play in the water chasing stones. At 9 y/o she just suddenly started sticking her head under the water to look for the stones I throw! She's having too much fun here!!!

Unaweep/Tabeguache Scenic Byway along the Uncompahgre Plateau - western slope, Colorado
Highway 141 (The Unaweep/Tabeguache Scenice Byway) took me to the Uncompahgre Plateau in southewestern Colorado. Although I didn't focus on the roadside sign it did say this is one of the richest areas for wildlife in Colorado. You can see it's clear, clean, quiet beautiful place that could have probably done okay without this road having been built...

Montrose Water Park Dedication
This video is about Montrose Water Park Dedication May 16, 2015. About 200 people attended even though it was raining. Montrose, Colorado now sports the largest water sports park in the state.
The event was special because of the Team River Runner combat veterans making the first descent down the 1100 meter course.
