5-14-15 - Day 16 - Fossil Butte National Monument - Wyoming
Another rainy day but had some sun when we were leaving.
Fossil Butte National Monument (Accessible Preview)
Some of the world's best preserved fossils are found in the flat-topped ridges of southwestern Wyoming's cold sagebrush desert. Fossilized fishes, insects, plants, reptiles, birds, and mammals are exceptional for their abundance, variety, and detail of preservation. Most remarkable is the story they tell of ancient life in a sub-tropical landscape.

SUMMARY
=======
Fossil Butte National Monument is a United States National Monument managed by the National Park Service, located 15 miles (24 km) west of Kemmerer, Wyoming, United States. It centers on an extraordinary assemblage of Eocene Epoch (56 to 34 million years ago) animal and plant fossils associated with Fossil Lake—the smallest lake of the three great lakes which were then present in what are now Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado. The other two lakes were Lake Gosiute and Lake Uinta. Fossil Butte National Monument was established as a national monument on October 23, 1972.
Fossil Butte National Monument preserves the best paleontological record of Cenozoic aquatic communities in North America and possibly the world, within the 50-million-year-old Green River Formation — the ancient lake bed. Fossils preserved — including fish, alligators, bats, turtles, dog-sized horses, insects, and many other species of plants and animals — suggest that the region was a low, subtropical, freshwater basin when the sediments accumulated, over about a 2 million-year period.
Cutting Out Fossilized Mini Fish! (Knightia)
#fossil
Here we show you a snippet of how we prepare our little Knightia fossils. Knightia eocaena swam around in tropical freshwater lakes and rivers. 52 million years later, we find the fossilized Knightia fish burried in the dried up lake beds of The Green River Formation near Kemmerer, Wyoming and the Fossil Butte National Monument.
If you've ever been to a Natural History Museum, this area is where those fossils on display are actually found on quarries just like ours.
We use several tools to escavate and prepare these fish for our customers, and clipping these mini fish (many... many hours of clipping fish) is just one example of one step to get these fish ready to sell!

Knightia is an extinct genus of clupeid clupeiform bony fish that lived in the fresh water lakes and rivers of North America during the Eocene epoch. The genus was erected by David Starr Jordan in 1907, in honor of the late University of Wyoming professor Wilbur Clinton Knight, an indefatigable student of the paleontology of the Rocky Mountains. It is the state fossil of Wyoming, and the most commonly excavated fossil fish in the world.

Yellowstone National Park - 2017 - Dinosaur Center of Wyoming
Wyoming is an amazing landscape offering fossils almost form the beginning on.
FOSSILS ARE HIDDEN BY GOVERNMENTS ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Fossils are hidden by states. Not shown to the nation. Look, I repeat; Fossils are hidden by almost all states, not shown to the nation. America, Russia, everywhere. (Fossils are eliminating evolution, here are the fossils that are proof of creation!)
(Fossils are hidden by states all over the World!) 95-million-year-old Violin Stingray fossil. For 95 million years Violin Stingray has not changed, the same. 50-million-year-old bony pike fish. 50 million years, bony pike fish. A 150-million-year-old Shrimp fossil. 150 million years. The layers already belong to 150 million years ago. It has never changed. 260 million years old Caribbean Moonfish. Would you repeat? 260-million-year-old Caribbean Moonfish Fossil. 260 million years, they are cleaned very carefully. It's a very difficult thing to clean it up. They have Stamps and everything. You are see stamps? Yes. No changes. Like an artist's work. We are see Engineering wonders, excellent fossils.
Paleontology is Science, for example, reveal fossils. They don't want to bring fossils. When they see fossils, they become bored. Darwin is more honest about it than our Darwinists. The man says; “My theory ends if there's no transitional fossil.” Honest. But These are not being honest. They continue to advocate for evolution, even though there are no transitional fossils. All layers searched, no transitional fossil. Should be millions, but have not any transitional fossil.

The Road To Yellowstone Part 8. Grand Tetons To Fossil Butte
On my 8th day of my road trip to yellowstone, I began the long journey home by driving south to the small wyoming town of kemmerer. On the way I saw beautiful views of the grand tetons and saw many flocks of sandhill cranes and dozens of pronghorn antelope.

Lincoln Cty meeting Kemmerer Apr 2010 part one
This meeting was in regards to the proposed detention center to be built in Kemmerer, WY. There is a lot of controversy surrounding how this process has gone on. The current county commissioners have not as of the posting of this video to allow the citizens of Lincoln county to vote on this proposal.
