Russia
My visit to Russia begins along the Baltic Sea in Saint Petersburg. Saint Petersburg is Russia's second-largest city as well as its cultural capital. The Historic Center of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments constitute a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next I continue on to Moscow, Russia's capital and most populous city. Here I visit historic Red Square and the Kremlin. The Video concludes with my visit to the Trinity Monastery of St. Sergii in Zagorsk.

On The Way to Red Square
On 19th January 2010, i travelled with my Indonesian friend Roni.First I want to let him very special thanks for his awesome Photographs. It was cold but not snowing. Friends, you know whats temperature was that time in Moscow?.It was -16 °C!.Maybe you may think, why we travelled s during such kind of cold weather?.There were also very special reasons behind this .That were to enjoy Russian Winter & try to feel of being so cold.My friend Roni really have suffered from cold& i noticed that he most of times put his hands in pocket!.I am grateful to Roni that even he wont leave me.
Thanks my dear friend!.
I traveled by metpo & meet with Roni at Okhotnhi Reead station.
We reached to Kremlin at 14.00. We had a short visit from Red Square. As it was too cold so a few people were on the ground. We took some pictures of St Basil's cathedral & Lenin's body still lies in the tomb.I would like to tell one information for my reader that in 1991 Red Square was added to the UNESCO list of world heritage sites, and it really acts as the focal point of Moscow and therefore the whole of Russia.
So Lets watch this video clip & get a trip from the heart of Moscow city.
Moscow 1997. Inside the Kremlin, GUM, Moscow Metro, Izmailovo Hotel.
Some grabs of Moscow, from a trip to Yeltsin era Russia, 1997. Includes some shots inside the Kremlin, GUM dept. store, Moscow Metro and the Izmailovo Hotel complex, which was built as the athletes accommodation for the 1980 Olympics, and was our accommodation during the trip.

Fountain at GUM department store by Red Square in Moscow
One slogan known to most Russians from Soviet times is If you get lost, get together again at the fountain in GUM. The shopping center in those days, of course, was much more crowded (as hard-to-come-by goods were often on offer), so getting lost was very easy.
Moscow Kremlin in Russia.
Moscow Kremlin
The Moscow Kremlin usually referred to as the Kremlin, is a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow,
overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil's Cathedral and Red Square to the east,
and the Alexander Garden to the west. It is the best known of the kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes five palaces,
four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.
The name Kremlin means fortress inside a city, and is often also used as a metonym to refer to the government of the Russian Federation
in a similar sense to how the White House is used to refer to the Executive Office of the President of the United States.
It had previously been used to refer to the government of the Soviet Union (1922–1991)
and its highest members (such as general secretaries, premiers, presidents, ministers,
and commissars). Kremlinology refers to the study of Soviet and Russian politics.

This meeting - I've already told the girls and the parents - it is so nice that we have seen the girls who were taken when they were small and also pretty ill and they have turned into such beauties now they have grown up. It is very nice because you feel that your work hasn't been wasted. Of course it's also the work of the parents. But it's also us. It's so interesting for us, we practically never see the children when they grow up.
18. Close of Jennifer Allen, pan right to Jessica Allen
19. SOUNDBITE (English), Mike Allen, adoptive father:
This has many fond memories for us. It was a very emotional time and we can return and meet the same people that were here that day that were so important to us. And now we know why the girls are so happy, because they came from a very, very happy place.
