Mannheim Weihnachtsmarkt Wasserturm and Kapuzinerplanken Walking Tour - 4k

Germany is famous for it's Christmas Markets so we wanted to take you on a walk with us. This was filmed on the opening weekend in Mannheim. We started at the large market at Wasserturm and then went to the smaller one at the Kapuzinerplanken.
Be warned - Christmas Markets are very crowded and you don't always have the best sight, but we think we captured the atmosphere very well :-)

Tour of Frankfurt Hahn Airport - Mannheim Bus Terminal
Hello Hoppers! More and more people in Europe are using the low-cost airline Ryanair to go country-hopping. Germany is no different and Frankfurt Hahn Airport is pretty popular for those flying to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia (Spain) but it is NOT Frankfurt International Airport. It can be very confusing. I happen to take this route quite often so I decided to prepare a video on how to get to Hahn Airport from Mannheim Bus Station and also how to get to the real Frankfurt Airport from Hahn. I also show you around Hahn Airport and detail what services are offered.

Germany Part 3 | Weinheim + Mannheim + Schwetzingen
What a day! I went to three cities in one day! I started off in Weinheim, pronounced vɑɪnhɑɪm, which ended up being the best of all nine cities I visited in total. I could have spent all day hiking in the forest or sitting at Wachenburg Castle. There were also botanical gardens in the city center as well as an exotic forest which is home to giant sequoia trees. I wanted to stay and visit all of the cafes and restaurants to enjoy the small town life that I have missed so much.
Then I went to Mannheim to see their Palace which is now home to Mannheim University. Imagine taking classes in an old royal palace. And to think, the university is free in Germany. I also went to a technical museum, but I was not impressed.
Finally, I made it to Schwetzingen that is known for its extravagant palace gardens. According to the website, the gardens we supposed to be closed for the winter, so I didn't rush to get there. However, when I arrived I discovered that the gardens were indeed open until 4:30 and I just missed it. But they definitely would have been worth a visit. I didn't stay long because hyper speed traveling is exhausting.
I finally understand all those people who say they need a vacation from their vacation. It is because they are trying to do too much. I prefer to do nothing but walk around, enjoy long coffee breaks, and read books in the park. If you feel exhausted from your holiday, slow down.
Anyway, I am grateful for the opportunity to explore these new places and share them with you.
