Champagne Tour: Paris – Epernay | Boat Bike Tours
Performed again in 2017, the eight day, seven night Champagne, Marne River Valley & Paris tour on board the barge MS Zwaantje is a cycle touring classic that not only allows guests to explore the world famous city of Paris, but also the Champagne region, famous of course, for producing Champagne wine. From the time the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon invented the bubbly drink in 1670 at the Abbey of d’Hautvillers, the Champagne name has been synonymous worldwide with the very best of sparkling wines. On a daily basis from your base on board your floating hotel for the duration for the tour, the barge MS Zwaantje, you will have the opportunity to cycle to boutique wineries, sample a variety of champagnes, taste delicious Brie cheese and generally discover everything the Champagne UNESCO world heritage region, which is centred on the towns of Epernay and Reims, has to offer. But more than just visiting the Champagne region, you will also have the opportunity to explore Paris, one of Europe’s most beautiful and beloved cities on a full day guided excursion. Other highlights of the tour include a visit to the city of Meaux, well known for its Brie cheeses and a stopover in Château-Thierry, the scene of major battles in World War I. Along the way you will cycle through almost endless vineyards on the rolling banks of the Marne River. The tour ends in the city of Epernay, the real capital of the Champagne region where you will have the opportunity to visit one of the town’s massive champagne cellars.

PARIS VISIT - WORSE experience at LIDO SHOW ( please watch this video before you go there)
Visiting Paris? Planning to visit well known cabaret? Do your research first! Don't let anyone to take advantage of you and make you pay big dollars for ZERO quality. Lido de Paris, the famous French cabaret located on the Champs Elysées, has launched a new show (not sure exactly when) but it has gotten worse over the years with their performance and customer service. I am sharing my real life experience in this video in order for a lot of people not to repeat the same mistake:
- be prepared to be seated with other people at the table and watch the entire show over their head and movements ( NO CHANCE to see the show clearly ).Recommend to visit massage place for the neck pain the next day.
- if you can't afford the dinner, don't by other offers like sparking offers as you'll not be served through the entire show
- Make sure to bring water with you as nobody offer it
- get ready to be distracted by other people's phones and their lights cause no one is following the rules and braking the law at the show ( cause there is no security to control)
- be ready be ignored by the waitressing crew who is only happy to serve people who has ordered dinners and walking around with the lights on their phones to read the menu and endless talking about the main courses, salads and deserts.

We're confident our travel video guide covered some of the top attractions in Paris along with some suggestions that wouldn't necessarily be found in a tourism guide book including information on festivals, arts, entertainment and dining along with French cuisine. Most of the French foods we sampled would be found at any kind of local French bakery (pâtisserie).
50 Things to do in Paris, France | Top Attractions Travel Guide Travel Video Transcript:
Hello, and welcome to Paris. This week we are exploring the city of love, city of lights and city of art. This video will be showing you the top 50 things to do while you visit Paris.
So we're wrapping things up here. What would be your one tip for visiting Paris? Well, I have recently spent a whole ten days here in summer. I would say that if you really want to visit the art galleries, the museums and all of the main attractions you should probably avoid summer and like either come in the spring or the fall or even winter. Because the lines are insane and sometimes you have to wait like an hour and a half or two hours.
So how about you? What are your final thoughts on Paris? So my finals thoughts is obviously Paris is one of the top cities in the world in terms of attractions. There is going to be garbage, there is going to be lines, there is going to be some areas that are a bit of an eyesore. But there is also a lot of beauty and there is also a lot to do here.
And that concludes our guide of the top 50 things to do and see in Paris. We hope you enjoyed watching, and let us know if there are other places you would add to this list.
This is part of our Travel in France series showcasing French culture, French arts, French foods & French cuisine.
