To everyone who helped keep the Visitor Center in Death Valley Open: THANK YOU!
Following the lapse in Government appropriations and subsequent partial government shutdown in December 2018 that lasted over a month, the Death Valley Natural History Association was able to fulfill our mission by making a donation to Death Valley National Park to keep the Furnace Creek Visitor Center open. Thank you to everyone who contributed to offset the cost. If another closure happens, DVNHA is prepared to assist again.
