The solutions brought about were an obvious consequence of thorough research and studies, resulting in a monument gloriously reinstated to its former beauty and grandeur. The functionality now presents a suitable and educational outcome, enhancing the cultural and touristic value of the area and the whole region. At the same time, the project allows the rhythm and rules of monastic life to proceed at its traditional pace. It is an example of a sustainable strategic development program.
Biserica Manastirii Galata Iasi
Galata Monastery was built by the ruler Petru Schiopu, and the Church was consecrated in 1584. Its name comes from the neighbourhood bearing the same name from Constantinople (today's Istanbul), where Moldavian rulers used to find shelter when they went to the Sublime Porte. Just like other monasteries from the region of Moldavia, Galata has an enclosing wall, with a bell tower. Besides, the church of the monastery has been a model for Aroneanu Church (1594), The Church of Dragomirna Monastery (1608-1609), the church of the Monastery of the Three Hierarchs (1639).
(Mănăstirea Galata din Iași este o mănăstire de maici, ctitorită la sfârșitul secolului al XVI-lea de către domnitorul Petru Șchiopul în partea de vest a orașului. Ea se află pe un platou de pe dealul Miroslava, putând fi observată cu ușurință din diferite locații ale Iașului.
Biserica, înconjurată de ziduri prevăzute cu creneluri și având un turn clopotniță înalt la intrare, are aspectul unei fortărețe, servind adesea ca loc de apărare și uneori ca reședință domnească. Ea este un exemplu al influenței muntene asupra arhitecturii moldovenești. Din apropierea bisericii, de pe Dealul Galata, se deschide o frumoasă perspectivă asupra orașului.)

It was built between 1726-1733 in the traditional style.
It became a unitary ensemble, created in the Classical style, during four decades. In 1753 Matei Ghica founded on Frumoasa hill a monastery in the precinct of which there were a church, a royal palace and a steeple tower included in the walls.
The today's church was built between 1833-1836 at Grigore Ghica's request. The steeple tower with extremely beautiful elements marks the entrance in Frumoasa Monastery's precinct.

Biserica Trei Ierarhi (Church of the Three Hierarchs) is a seventeenth-century monastery located in Iaşi, Romania. The monastery is listed in the National Register of Historic Monuments and included on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The church was erected between 1637 and 1639, by Prince Vasile Lupu, in the Moldavian capital, in honour of three saints (Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nazianzus, and John Chrysostom), and was blessed by Bishop Varlaam. In 1640, Prince Vasile Lupu, the renowned defender of the Orthodox Church, set up here the first printing press in Moldavia and the Vasilian College, a higher education institute. In 1643, the first volume ever printed in Moldavia was issued in Iaşi. The Trei Ierarhi Church was dedicated by Vasile Lupu to the 20 monasteries on Mount Athos.
The church became renowned for the extraordinary lacery in stone which adorns the facades, from bottom to the top of the derricks. One can count over 30 non-repeating registers of decorative motives. Western architectural elements (Gothic, Renaissance) combine with the Eastern style, of Armenian, Georgian, Persian, Arabian or Ottoman inspiration, in a totally bold conception, whose result is a harmonious ensemble. The effusive scenery makes the church resemble a shrine of architectonic proportions, especially conceived to protect the Sfanta Cuvioasa Parascheva's relics (1641). After the 1882 restoration, the original fresco was derusted, some fragments still being kept today in the monastery's museum.
Near the church one can find the Gothic Hall, which shelters a religious art museum. It has, among other things, objects related to the history of the monastery. In the gate's tower (which today no longer exists), that served as belfry, Vasile Lupu had installed a huge horologe, the first public use clock in Romanian Principalities (1654). During the 1882 restoration, the whole mechanism was disassembled and transported to France, where it remained.
Several Romanian royal figures are buried inside the church: Vasile Lupu (1634-1653), prince of Moldavia, Tudosca (Vasile Lupu's first wife) and Ştefan Vodă, their son; prince of Moldavia and scholar Dimitrie Cantemir (1673--1723); and Alexandru Ioan Cuza, the first ruler of the united Romanian principalities (1859--1866).

...pe masura ce urci in turnul clopotnitei, gasesti cateva camere cu exponate datate de prin anii 18**! Aici , nu ai permisiune de a filma sau de a face poze. Apoi cand ajungi sus, ai parte de o priveliste impresionanta a orasului IASI!!!! ....recomand tuturor acest locas de cult .

Biserica Bărboi, Iași, Romania
Biserica Bărboi este o biserică creștin-ortodoxă din municipiul Iași, care a fost construită în anii 1841-1844, pe locul unei biserici construită de vornicul Ursu Bărboi în perioada 1613-1615.
Biserica a fost ridicată după planurile arhitectului grec Andrei Caridis, ajutat de meșterii Atanasie și Gheorghe, greci din Sisani. Ea are hramul Sfinții Apostoli Petru și Pavel, sărbătorit în fiecare an la 29 iunie.
Biserica ctitorită de Ursu Bărboi a fost transformată în 1669 în mănăstire, urmașii ctitorului închinând-o Mănăstirii Vatopedu din Muntele Athos.
În această biserică a fost înmormântat în anul 1842 fostul domnitor Ioniță Sandu Sturdza (1822-1828), primul domn pământean al Principatului Moldovei de după epoca fanariotă.
Tot aici sunt înmormântați și alți membri ai familiei Sturdza, precum și poetul Alecu Russo (1819-1859).
Cutremurul din 4 martie 1977 a produs avarii acestei biserici.
În anii 1980-1988, prin grija patriarhului Teoctist Arăpașu, fost mitropolit al Moldovei și Sucevei, s-au efectuat lucrări de consolidare și restaurare a lăcașului de cult, cu fonduri acordate de Mitropolia Moldovei și Sucevei și cu sprijinul tehnic al autorităților de stat. Cu acest prilej, a fost curățată și refăcută pictura murală interioară, catapeteasma și vechile jilțuri, s-au consolidat și restaurat turnul-clopotniță, clădirea fostei egumenii, zidul de incintă și casa de ape.
Biserica a fost resfințită la 27 noiembrie 1988 de către patriarhul Teoctist, înconjurat de un sobor de preoți din Iași.
Biserica este situată în centrul orașului Iași, pe Stradela Bărboi nr. 12.

In data de 15.07.2018 la ApolloniaTV în cadrul emisiuni Credința realizată de George & Oana Lamasanu a fost dată Istoria Manastirii Hlincea Iasi Preot protosinghel Metodie Oprică ,voce fundal Alin Mureșanu
Mănăstirea Hlincea, cu hramul Sfântul Mare Mucenic Gheorghe, a fost întemeiată după anul 1574 şi înainte de 1591, de Maria, fiica lui Petru Şchiopul, şi de soţul acesteia, Zotu spătarul. Petru Şchiopul închină mănăstirea Hlincea ca metoh unei mănăstiri din Muntele Athos, respectiv mănăstirii Dionisiu, la care adaugă şi un mertic de 6000 de aspri.În legătura cu data exactă a construcţiei bisericii se poate afirma că două momente ar fi putut favoriza începerea construcţiei de la Hlincea: 15 august 1586 - Petru Şchiopul îl întâlneşte la Bogdăneşti pe nepotul său Mihnea, pe râul Prut, sau la 10 iunie 1587 - la nunta lui „Vladu Vodă” a fost iarăşi chemat domnul Ţării Româneşti, Mihnea Turcitul.Deci, lucrările de construcţie a mănăstirii Hlincea s-ar putea fixa, aproximativ, între anii 1586 – 1587. Hramul Sf. Gheorghe a fost atribuit, probabil, în cinstea victoriei împotriva cazacilor, din 23 noiembrie 1587. Luând în considerare aceste evenimente şi stilul arhitectonic cu influenţe muntene, se poate presupune că meşterul care a construit Hlincea făcea parte din curtea care însoţea pe Mihnea în Moldova.Alături de ctitorii fondatori ai mănăstirii trebuie să menţionăm şi ceilalţi ctitori: Miron Barnovschi şi Vasile Lupu.După ce Petru Şchiopul şi familia sa au părăsit ţara la 8 septembrie 1591, mănăstirea a fost lăsată în paragină cu ,,toate satele răsfirate şi pustiite căci de la mănăstire de la Dionisiate călugării n-au mai venit, nici au mai purtat de grijă de metoh şi de sate, ci au lăsat tot de s-au pustiit”.
