Hi guys! Garosugil (가로수길) is a small street in the neighborhood of Sinsa-dong (신사동), which is in the Gangnam district (강남구), Seoul, Korea. It's a great place to go shopping, eat at restaurants, visit cute cafes, and just hang out. In this video, I'll share with you my kawaii guide to Garosugil Seoul, Korea! I will start by showing you how to get to Garosugil from Sinsa station. Lets explore this Gangnam shopping street together!
Directions to Garosugil - From Sinsa station, go out of Exit 8 and walk straight for about 5-7 minutes. When you see the sign with the gingko leaves that says Garosugil Road or 가로수길, you have arrived!

Garosu-gil (Hangeul: 가로수길) is an area in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The name Garosu-gil, meaning tree-lined street, refers to the ginkgo trees planted along the streets in the area. Garosu-gil is known for upscale boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes, among others.
Garosu-gil, along with 'Cheongdam’s Fashion Street' in Cheongdam-dong and Apgujeong Rodeo Street in Apgujeong-dong, connected by the main Apgujeong-ro, are together seen as the main fashionable and trendsetting areas in Seoul.

Garosu-gil is a typical shopping street in Korea. It was the beginning that hipsters and artists gathered to form a cultural street. Since then, there have been a lot of people coming in, and big brands have jumped out and been promoting. The atmosphere at first changed a lot but it is still a charming shopping center. Walking an alleyway reminds me of Harajuku in Tokyo. :)
