What is up everyone! My name is Dave, I am a fitness coach, health coach, men’s lifestyle coach and model, marathon / long distance runner, weight lifter and all around nice funny guy lol from London, currently living in Canggu / Amed Bali Indonesia and Krabi / Ao Nang Thailand.
I have been traveling for a couple of years and documenting along the way … I have been training in the gym / strength training , running and skateboarding for many years plus been a fully qualified personal trainer / fitness coach for nearly 3.
In this video I show you our trip to Wat Tham Sua ... an amazing temple that has been around for nearly 5 decades. Apparently, a tiger used to go and sleep in the cave, and the local people could hear it speak / roar / call out . Eventually a few people went to pray and worship and now there is an amazing community and giant temples in the area.
You have to climb nearly 1300 steps up the mountain in order to see the top of the temple and giant buddha statue
The inside of the cave is absolutely beautiful with lots of statues and offerings , plus some wonderful architecture .
It is a 25 minute drive from Ao Nang and about 20 minutes from Krabi in south west Thailand . (I strongly recommend you visit, we personally prefer it to the neighboring cities such as Phuket . )
We also have some local thai food , Pad Thai with tofu and the iced coffees / smoothies / juices / coconuts here are phenomenal .

Delicious Northern Thai Food, It's So Good! Lanna Food in Thailand
Subscribe: NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY! Delicious Northern Thai Food: Food in Thailand Vlog
This is a meal my family and I had at a northern style Thai restaurant in Ao Nang Krabi Thailand. Unfortunately the restaurant has closed since I made the video, but you will find these dishes at any Thai northern food restaurant in Thailand. This type of food is typical to the area around Chiang Mai.
The meal we had in the video was 70 baht (including drinks). I’d definitely recommend trying the northern-style food if you visit Thailand, it is so good!

New Thailand videos every Wednesday. Subscribe: Thai food recipe: Ant Egg and Mushroom Soup; Gaeng Hed Sai Khai Mot Dang แกงเห็ดใส่ไข่มดแดง. Cooking and eating bugs and insects in Thailand. How to cook edible insects. Taste testing bugs and insects. Bizarre Thai foods!
My wife cooking ants eggs, a popular Thai food here in Thailand. Bugs and insects are actually quite tasty and I eat insects as food on a semi-regular basis now. Insect eating is very popular amongst Thai people and bugs are apparently quite healthy, low in fat, and a good source of protein. If you travel in Thailand on holidays I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! In this video I taste test my wife’s raw ant egg soup, and I can tell you that it was delicious! These ants breed around March to April and their eggs are collected and prepared for food. Insects are a common snack in Thailand and a popular Thai street food. Raw ant egg salad, one of the many bizarre Thai foods you can find in Thailand!

Washing a very dirty baby elephant in Krabi
THAILAND VLOG- Baby Elephant Wash and Elephant Jungle Trek in Krabi Huay Toh Waterfall
There is an almost endless amount of things to do in Ao Nang- One of the most popular activities is going on an elephant trek. It’s hard to write this and even get into this description without addressing, well, the elephant in the room: Elephant treks are an activity that are a hotbed of debate.
A short description is not going to change anyone’s mind on whether it's inhumane for tourists to ride elephants. We went as far as emailing The Asian Elephant Foundation to confirm their endorsement of this elephant camp before booking the tour. Additionally, all reviews and background information online pointed to the fact that the elephants were treated ethically by their handlers.
The protection of elephants is an expensive and manpower intensive affair. They require a large amount of land, food, and protection from poachers. While you may disagree with the concept of elephant treks there is justification in that they are a source of income for locals and therefore guaranteed protection for the animals. The real world best case scenario is that the businesses that treat the animals ethically are supported.
Back to the fun part of all of this- washing a baby elephant in a river is probably the most fun anyone can have in their lifetime. I don’t know that there have been fifteen minutes in our lives where we’ve smiled harder. In all the laughing, it’s important to remember not to let the 1,000 lbs baby roll on you.
The day was topped off with a visit to Huay Toh Waterfall in the nearby national park to cool down.

Most street foods are classed as both finger food and fast food, and are cheaper on average than restaurant meals. According to a 2007 study from the Food and Agriculture Organization, 2.5 billion people eat street food every day.

Songkran Thai New Year - Waterfight Thailand - Rad Travel
The Thai New Year known as Songkran is celebrated with a super fun and mega chaotic 3 day waterfight! It occurs every year from April 13-15 and is one of the most unique and memorable parties you’ll ever attend! Just to be clear, this isn’t a few kids with water pistols running around having a giggle. Songkran is a no holds barred free for all with pumps set up in the moat and trucks driving around full of people hurling buckets of water. Everyone’s fair game, whether you’re a local or a tourist prepare to get wet!
We celebrate in the historic city that’s known for going all out for Songkran, Chiang Mai. The old city surrounded by a moat makes for a very festive and safe atmosphere that is perfect for anyone to join in. After Songkran we head to the mountain township of Pai to wind down after the craziness!
