Glen Lyon naming ceremony
The new Glen Lyon FPSO has been officially named in Ulsan, Korea, in a ceremony attended by BP and partners.
The new FPSO vessel - which is scheduled to be installed in 2016 - measures 270 metres long by 52 metres wide. It replaces the Schiehallion FPSO, which started production in 1998 and was removed in 2014 to make way for Quad204 subsea works.

Title Fight is an American punk rock band from Kingston, Pennsylvania, United States, formed in 2003. Title Fight plays music in the vein of Jawbreaker, Kid Dynamite and Lifetime, taking influence from such melodic punk rock acts as Saves the Day and emo bands Knapsack and Seaweed.They signed to SideOneDummy Records on January 19, 2011. Laggan Dam Overflowing
Laggan Dam is a dam located on the River Spean south west of Loch Laggan in the Scottish Highlands. The dam is 700 feet (213 metres) long and rises 170 feet (52 metres) above its foundations, and is part of the Lochaber hydro-electric scheme. The structure was built by Balfour Beatty for the British Aluminium Company and construction was finished in 1934.
Water from the dam is conveyed to Loch Treig through 3 miles (4.8 km) of tunnel. From there, the waters are conveyed to a power house at Fort William via 15 feet (4.6 metre) diameter pipe 15 miles (24 km) long. The dam can be found next to the A86 road from Fort William. The catchment area of the dam was increased by an aqueduct which can be seen at the side of the road in Strath Mashie.

After reaching the picturesque village of Fortingall, I got slightly confused as the where those thatched roof cottages where. They were a short hop along the road. I'm so used to approaching the village the opposite way.

Backpacking Rannoch GlenLyon 2013 Prt 2
Part 2 of the Rannoch to GlenLyon backpacking hike.
Me and John decided to keep our tents pitched where they were and do a day hike to Glenlyon and return back later in the evening. John's feet were blistered so it made sense to keep things lite for that walk. That evening we were swamped with clouds of midges so we stayed in the tents before an early turn in.
Next day we went back on a different trail and walked through part of the old Caledonian forest.
