Gnadenhutten Historical Park and Museum
The Gnadenhutten Historical Park is home to the settlement and museum housing the artifacts and history of the first settlement in Ohio dating back to October 9, 1772.
Today, the museum and grounds are maintained and staffed by the Village of Gnadenhutten and volunteers.
The museum and grounds are open to the public free of charge. Donations of time and resources are appreciated.
Gnadenhutten
Gnadenhutten was a village started by Moravian missionary David Zeisberger. Delaware (Lenape) Indians who were converts to Christianity lived there. They were quite peaceful but, something went deadly wrong. (Video recorded August 2015)

Gnadenhutten Massacre Site with ghost box
The Gnadenhutten massacre, also known as the Moravian massacre, was the killing on March 8, 1782, of ninety-six Christian Lenape (Delaware) by colonial American militia from Pennsylvania during the American Revolutionary War. The incident took place at the Moravian missionary village of Gnadenhütten, Ohio, near present-day Gnadenhutten. The site of the village was preserved. A reconstructed cabin and cooper's house were built there, and a monument to the dead was erected. The village site has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Burial site of Col.David williamson-Gnadenhutten Masacre 1782
This was a potters field in Washington Pa. where Williamson was purportedly buried in an unmarked grave.When the school was built over top,the remains were placed in this memorial chapel. Some of Williamsons' troops who were at Gnadenhutten were also buried in these grounds.

May 15, 2015: Video taken (with permission from Ron and Mike Nooncaster of Main Line Motion Pictures) of Ohio Central Railroad steam locomotives #1551 and #13 doing photo runbys at Gnadenhutten. #1551, an ex. Canadian National 4-6-0 is seen pulling a passenger consist while #13, an ex. Buffalo Creek and Gauley 2-8-0 is seen pulling a freight consist. The first clips take place at Dennison, Ohio. Some of this footage was also shot by Goodheart and can be seen on Riding The Rails Of The Ohio Central. This took place during Steamfest '97.

Ohio Central Railroad #13 (1993)
Video uploaded (with permission from Ron McElrath of Revelation Video and Railroad Video Quarterly) of Ohio Central Railroad #13 (ex. Buffalo Creek and Gauley #13) after her restoration in 1993. The video is called Ohio Central: The Buckeye Route. #13 wore her original 5-chime whistle until about 1996 when she was given a homemade 6-chime whistle (probably reminiscent of B&O).
Schoenbrunn Village
In 1772 the Delaware Indians invited Moravian Church missionaries to enter the Ohio Country. David Zeisberger, along with five Indian families, established the first Christian settlement in Ohio (which was located in the Tuscarawas Valley). They named their community Schoenbrunn Village.
