Tabaluga Golf Cup 2010
Der TABALUGA Golf Cup fand bereits zum 16. Mal statt. Die Idee das Turnier 2009 das erste Mal in Tutzing, dem Hauptsitz der Tabaluga Kinderstiftung, zu organisieren, stieß bei allen Golfern, Gästen und der Tutzinger Bevölkerung auf große Begeisterung. Durch das Engagement aller Beteiligten wurde das Golf Turnier und der Abend in der Reithalle zu einer ganz besonderen Veranstaltung und alle freuen sich, dass es auch in diesem Jahr wieder in Tutzing stattfindet.

Abandoned Rehab Clinic
Hello my name is Liz and I'm new in the Urban Exploring stuff. This first lost places I've found was a abandoned rehab clinic. It was a real big place and I wasn't everywhere.Maybe I will do a second tour. But here some history about this place.
History:
The rehabilitation center Urbachtal was a rehabilitation center (formerly a sanatorium in Urbachtal), which was closed at the end of 2001 due to insolvency. Since then it is empty and is left to decay.
At peak times, it housed about 200 patients who sought recovery there after successful cancer treatment. The area on which the buildings of the clinic are located has a total size of approx. 50,000 m².
In 1957 W. Bartsch, founder of the former rehabilitation center Urbachtal, began to look after patients accommodated in a restaurant and hotel in Neukirchen. At that time the admission capacity was approx. 15 patient places.
In order to improve and increase the capacities and the medical possibilities, the Kurheim in Urbachtal, which was still designed for 25 patients, was initially built and opened in 1959. Already one year after the opening, the home was extended to only 45 and then 120 beds and attained an excellent status throughout the Federal Republic of Germany.
Over time, the entire building complex was expanded to include a sports hall, two swimming pools with saunas, a large park with its own lake and a miniature golf course. In addition, the spa was expanded into a clinic, which now also advanced research in the areas of tumor disease and immunology, as well as their diagnosis and treatment enabled.
In 2001, the management of the Rehabilitation Center filed for bankruptcy and at the beginning of 2002 the hospital was closed.
To date, the building complex left as it was on the last day of work is empty and largely left to decay and vandalism. After several forced evictions, the current owner of the building does not pay any taxes on the orphaned building, and so the tax refunds accumulate to about 240,000 €. The value of the building was estimated in mid-2012 at 2.5 million euros.
In October 2015, they planned to prepare the clinic to accommodate about 1,000 refugees there. The state of Hesse had lightweight construction halls built, but problems were a lack of water supply and the property tax debt of the Dutch owner.
The facility was in operation from January 2016, but not occupied. In April 2016, there was no need to rebuild the buildings. The tent city was dismantled in the summer of 2016.
