for u guys that go for a backpacking trip the hot air balloon ride cost u for 200USD...

the trip is early in the morning at 5.00 a.m the van come and pick u up at the hotel and go to the mountain valley u can see the whole process of setting up the balloon.

Hot Air Balloon Crash, Cappadocia, Turkey May 20, 2013

An Anatolian Balloons Company hot air balloon crashed near Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia in central Turkey, May 20 2013.

I took this video from a nearby balloon while about 200 meters in the air.

Two balloons crashed into each other midair at around 6:13am causing one balloon to fall near the Ortahisar area of Ürgüp, in the Cappadocia region of central Turkey. Over 100 balloons were flying in the area when the crash occurred.

Latest reports say that two people died in the crash and over 20 people were injured (

Good day everyone,

Welcome again to yet another Vlog in the Turkey series. Today we are on our way from the Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport to Kayseri (for Cappadocia). We took the Pegasus Airlines flight and was only around 60 minutes duration.

The Goreme town is around 1 hour drive from Kayseri airport and we had pre-booked our airport pick-up from the hotel where we were staying. The ride costs 50 TRLs per person.
We stayed in the famous cave hotels for which the Goreme is quite famous for. There are several hotels in all budget to choose from.
The highlight of this video is the Hot air Balloon experience in Cappadocia. Every day in the morning at around 5 AM, almost 100+ hot air balloons start their journey over the beautiful Cappadocia landscape giving you a view & experience of the lifetime. It is a must do thing when you are in this place. It costs around 150 to 200 Euros depending on the deal and the demand of the day.

Cappadocia Cave Hotel in Uçhisar, Turkey Hot Air Balloon

In this video we visit Cappadocia Cave Hotel in Uçhisar in Turkey. The Cappadocia hotel offers cave rooms with luxury accommodation services and the best view of hot air balloon. The Rupestral House serve delicious Turkish Breakfast at the rooftop with an amazing views of balloons.

Uçhisar is situated at the highest point of the region, on the Nevsehir Göreme road, just 5 km from Göreme, 12 kilometres west of Ürgüp, and 10 kilometres south of Avanos. The top of the castle, provides a magnificent panorama of the surrounding area with Mount Erciyes in the distance.

Turkey Hot Air Balloon are mostly fly over the rooftop terrace of the Rupestral House. There are picturesque view of Göreme, Avanos and Ortahisar. Ürgüp is another top destination in Kapadokia.

Around the Uçhisar, there are many souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes and market. Also its easy to find transportation by taxi, by bus and by minibuses to everywhere around the region.
