At one part of the park, a fitness studio had their performance, while on the other we were enjoying while experiencing the adrenaline fun at adventure trails set in the woods.

The cafe was full of people who came to enjoy the refreshing air at the Gorica Hill and refreshing drinks and snacks.

This is the best escape from Podgorica heat, that is close to the town centre and we warmly recommend you to go and visit, if you didn't so far!

Podgorica, the Capital, is well known for its tremendous heat during the summer months and everyone wants to go towards the north or the coast, for some refreshment. But... They might don't know about the most amazing green oasis in the heart of the city.

Hill Gorica is one of the symbols of the city, as its name literally translated means under the Gorica hill. This green point is at a 10-minute walking distance from the main city square Trg Nezavisnosti.

On the slopes of the hill, Adventure Park Gorica is located. They offer refreshments and snacks in their cafe, but they also offer some extreme fun for both - children and adults.

We visited Adventure Park Gorica on one of their special events and we experienced pure adrenaline and fun, together with the rest of the visitors.

26.05.2019. Udruzenje SAJAN je otislo na svoj prvi medjunarodni turnir van zemlje i vratilo se sa pregrst medalja i trofeja. Zabelezili smo najveci uspeh do sada.Turnir se odrzao u klubu Bocara ispod crkve sv. DJORDJA. Organizator Rajan Cupic nas je odlicno docekao, i or. odlican turnir.Sve je proteklo u najboljem redu, a evo uspeha nasih momaka i devojaka koji su prestavljali Srbiju na ovom takmicenju: kateg. :

Podgorica già Titograd è la capitale del Montenegro.
La città si trova a 44 metri sul livello del mare, nella fertile pianura a settentrione del lago di Scutari. Il territorio di Podgorica è attraversato da diversi fiumi: il Morača e il Ribnica attraversano la città, mentre Zeta, Sitnica, Mareza e Zievna passano nei pressi.
L'altura da cui la città prende il nome, Gorica è a 107 metri sul livello del mare, altre alture sono Malo brdo, Velje brdo, Ljubović, e Čardak.
Il centro attuale nacque nell'XI secolo con il nome di Birziminium, successivamente chiamato in lingua slava Ribnica e soltanto dalla prima metà del XIV secolo Podgorica.
La città crebbe all'incrocio di diverse importanti vie di comunicazione favorita dalla fertilità della valle del lago di Scutari e dalla presenza dei numerosi fiumi.
Affermatisi come centro commerciale, sotto il dominio turco vi venne edificata una fortezza a difesa delle vie commerciali e degli attacchi delle tribù slave ribelli. Nel 1864 venne riconosciuta come città appartenente al vilayet di Scutari con il nome turco di Böğürtlen.
Nel 1878 il Congresso di Berlino riconobbe l'indipendenza del Montenegro e la città vi venne integrata conoscendo un notevole sviluppo commerciale pur non essendo la capitale del paese. Scoppiata la prima guerra mondiale tra il 1916 e il 1918 venne occupata dall'Austria-Ungheria come il resto del Montenegro. Terminato il conflitto entrò a far parte del nuovo regno dei Serbi, Croati e Sloveni, poi detto di Jugoslavia. Tra le due guerre la popolazione cittadina si aggirava sulle 13.000 unità.
Durante la seconda guerra mondiale la città venne bombardata per 70 volte, venendo poi liberata il 19 dicembre 1944. A partire dal 13 luglio 1946 divenne la capitale della Repubblica Socialista del Montenegro, federata alla Jugoslavia, con il nome di Titograd, in onore del maresciallo Josip Broz Tito.
Il 2 aprile 1992 riprese il nome di Podgorica (Podgorizza) e il 21 maggio 2006 divenne capitale del neocostituito Stato indipendente del Montenegro.
Cattedrale della Risurrezione (Saborni Hram Hristovog Vaskrsenja), principale edificio religioso della città, costruita nel 1993.
Città vecchia (Stara varoš), con alcune costruzioni che risalgono al periodo ottomano, tra cui la torre dell'orologio (XVIII secolo), il vecchio ponte sulla Ribnica (XV secolo) e gli scarsi resti della fortezza sita alla confluenza tra Ribnica e Morača (XV secolo).
