Mammoth Caves Part 1, Grand Avenue Tour Ep15
This was by far the best 4 mile underground hike we've ever been on! Never mind that it's very likely the ONLY 4 ice underground hike we've ever been on LOL! Seriously though, we really enjoyed it, and we hope you do as well!

The Amazing Historic Tour! Mammoth Cave National Park

I took bout the Historic Tour and the Domes and Dripstones Tour. I personally liked the Domes and Dripstones Tour better. That tour had more cave formations. Check out my video on the Domes and Dripstones Tour.

We, Irwin and Victorina, have decided to quit our jobs, sell everything we have and go on an epic road trip of visiting all U.S. National Parks! Follow our journey - from letting go of our material possessions, preparing for the extended camping trip, and even the mistakes, joys, doubts and adventures we make along the way! We hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of Planet Earth.
Adventure begins in Feb 2017. We estimate this road trip will take us approximately 12 to 16 months. We know we will some amazing places and meet a lot of interesting people.
If you have an idea or suggestions for us for places to visit along the way, feel free to contact us!
NEW VIDEOS every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. If we miss a day, it is probably because we had no phone signal inside the park or we couldn't find any wifi access. If this is the case, we will upload our video as soon as we get any phone signal.

Mammoth Cave Virtual Tour
This accompanies a 3D virtual tour that is on here as well. However, if you do not have 3D glasses for your class, this tour is just as good with sound effects and everything. You can talk over it if you like and explain as much or as little as you like. 2-3 minutes long. Great for young students with short attention spans. :)

I'll be honest, we got ourselves quite a lot of footage while we were visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Sorry this isn't immediately diving directly into the cave itself, but I promise a video with some tours involved is in the works as well!

[Wikipedia] Mammoth Cave National Park
Mammoth Cave National Park is a U.S. national park in central Kentucky, encompassing portions of Mammoth Cave, the longest cave system known in the world. Since the 1972 unification of Mammoth Cave with the even-longer system under Flint Ridge to the north, the official name of the system has been the Mammoth-Flint Ridge Cave System. The park was established as a national park on July 1, 1941. It became a World Heritage Site on October 27, 1981, and an international Biosphere Reserve on September 26, 1990.
The park's 52,830 acres (21,380 ha) are located primarily in Edmonson County, Kentucky, with small areas extending eastward into Hart County and Barren County. It is centered on the Green River, with a tributary, the Nolin River, feeding into the Green just inside the park. With 405 miles (652 km) of surveyed passageways Mammoth Cave is by far the world's longest known cave system, being over twice as long as the second-longest cave system, Mexico's Sac Actun underwater cave.

Visiting Mammoth Cave National Park -- Frozen Niagara Tour -- Part 1
Come along with my family and I as we visit Mammoth Cave National Park! I get my National Park Passport stamped, check out a historical marker and earthcache, and embark on the Frozen Niagara cave tour. National Park Ranger Shannon Hurley does a great job of describing to us the animals that live in the park!
