Today we explore inside Bally's Las Vegas Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. I've been curious about what is in this hotel for a while. It sits so far back from the boulevard and behind the Grand Bazaar Shops, that I forget that it is there. It not one of the more exciting hotels but there are some fun and kid-friendly things to do inside.

Bally's Las Vegas (formerly MGM Grand Hotel and Casino) is a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. The hotel features 2,814 extra-sized guestrooms that are 450 sq ft (42 m2) or larger and over 175,000 sq ft (16,300 m2) of banquet and meeting space. The casino occupies 66,187 sq ft (6,149.0 m2). About 75% of the rooms are in the Indigo Tower, and were renovated in 2004. The remaining rooms are located in the Jubilee Tower, constructed in 1981.
The resort has a large shopping area a floor below its gaming level, including several restaurants, and there is a station along the Las Vegas Monorail at the rear of the property. Bally's was home for the long-running production show Jubilee! which opened in 1981 and ended on February 11, 2016.
On November 21, 1980, the hotel, then operating as the MGM Grand, was the site of one of the worst high-rise fires in United States history, in which 85 people died.

My name is Mike Myers. I am the owner of Legion Marketing; my expertise is in nightlife. I believe that I know the best and brightest of everything that's in Las Vegas. I can help you skip the lines, skip the bad spots, basically cut the fat. Shopping in Las Vegas consists of four tiers, ranging from the outlet malls all the way up to the flagship designer stores. The Bells outlet malls in the South end of the strip, about a mile or two pass me all day. It has a good Nike outlet, a good Calvin Klein outlet, and it's a real place to buy Chuck Taylors at the Converse store. And I'll see any reason to pay full price to work out your T-shirts, underwear, and shoes that haven't changed style in 35 years. The next level is your everyday shopping which is done at the Fashion Show Mall. Here you have your Macys, your Bloomingdales, and your Neiman Marcus, and while they do have nice things, you can also find your Forever 21, and your Apple store and your Abercrombie and Fitch, if that's your thing. It's located on the North end of the strip across in the wind and next door to Treasure Island. The mall definitely has the best variety and is the only one with actual department stores in it, vastly different from all the other shopping experiences in Vegas. The next level is the Forum shops in Caesar's Palace and the Mall de Palazzo. The Forum shops are the best laid out in my opinion, but being predominantly one story, it's a bit of height from one end to the other. When you do eventually get to the new edition, the stores over there are really disappointing. The Palazzo is a maze of good shopping and zero waiting because nobody shops here with the exception of the employees of the Palazzo and the Venetian I would guess, just out of sheer convenience. It's high-end and completely empty. Even the Barney's has nobody in it. The final tier is crystals at Aria which looks more like an airplane hangar with huge open spaces and baffling color scheme. It does have some amazing stores, the Tom Ford is gigantic, the Louis Vuitton is three stories. Originally it was said that every store that was being put in there had to be the worldwide flagship, but it then went out of the window after the fall in the economy and the lackluster reception of the City Center.
