The Mill, at Grand Gulf State Park
So, this is what inspired the previous video, Springfield Mill ...
When drove by here, and saw this wonderful, preserved Mill, the
wonderful song by Seals&Crofts just popped up, and I knew I would have to share this film.. This park, just North of Natchez, Mississippi, is just a short drive off Highway 62, ( The Blues Highway ) and is just next to the scenic Natchez Trace Highway
which is another whole splendor in itself..If you ever get to make
the Natchez Trace drive, be sure to stop at this Historical park,
( Beautiful campsites available as well ) and spend some time at Vicksburg, Natchez, and the Old Country Store for Dinner ! ! !
*** ( Hope you enjoy, and Keep playing the music ! ! !

This was filmed in 1938 by Thayer resident Bob Martin. I don't have the best copy, but this has been a pet project of mine for sometime now and I wanted to get it started. I would really like to see folks check it out and if they can identify the people in the film. We are looking at THAYER ,Mo in 1938 .... man these kids in the film are old or gone now .... know any of them ?
I am in the process of setting up Facebook and Myspace accounts for those interested to leave their info, comments and such. In the meantime you can email me at nos4ra267@yahoo.com if you have any information about who they are.
