Grand Jamia Mosque Lahore is a mosque located in Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan. With a capacity of 70,000 worshippers, it is the third largest mosque in Pakistan and the seventh largest mosque in the world.
Designed by Nayyar Ali Dada, it was inaugurated on Eid al-Adha on 6 October 2014. It can accommodate 25,000 worshipers indoors, while the courtyard and corridor leading to the main halls of worship can accommodate a total of 70,000. The architecture is influenced by Badshahi Masjid, Wazir Khan Mosque and Sheikh Zayed Mosque, with construction costs of over 4 billion rupees (or approximately $39 million).

Grand Jamia Mosque is a mosque located in Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan. It is the third largest mosque in Pakistan and seventh largest mosque in the world.Designed by Nayyar Ali Dada & Associates, it was inaugurated on Eid-ul-Adha on 6 October 2014. It can accommodate 25,000 worshipers indoors, while the courtyard and corridor leading to the main halls of worship can accommodate a total of 70,000.The architecture is influenced by Badshahi Masjid, Wazir Khan Mosque and Sheikh Zayed Mosque, with construction costs of over 4 billion rupees (or approximately $ 40 million).
The structure comprises four minarets, each 165 ft tall, and a grand dome, which is surrounded by 20 smaller domes. The exterior is surfaced with 4 million handmade Multani tiles. The interior is decorated with custom-made carpets imported from Turkey and over 50 chandeliers imported from Iran.

Construction work at Grand Jamia Masjid, Bahria Town Karachi is in the final phase of completion. The masjid will be inaugurated by Imaam-e-Kabah, in 2017, Insha’Allah.

Grand Jamia Mosque is a mosque located in Bahria Town, Lahore, Pakistan which is the largest mosque in the country by covered prayer facility and is 7th largest mosque in the World. The main hall of the mosque can accommodate 25,000 Namazis and it has a total capacity of 70,000. It has 21 domes and four 165 feet high minarets. These specifications make it the largest mosque in Pakistan in terms of covered area. Much of the building has been designed by Nayyar Ali Dada. It features marbled floors, custom-made chandeliers and its ornate halls have been beautified with 4,000,000 mosaic tiles. The tiles have been handcrafted by artisans from Multan. An area on the second floor of the mosque has been reserved for women. The basement of the mosque has been reserved for an Islamic art gallery and a religious school.

The Grand Jamia Masjid is a proud identity of Bahria Town Lahore and will symbolize Pakistan through out the Islamic World. Truly a masterpiece, the mosque’s interior is absolutely magnificent, with breathtaking views representing the fusion of traditional Islamic architecture with Pakistani culture. The carpet has been custom-made and imported from Turkey, there are over 50 luminous Persian chandeliers, creating a vibrant Islamic ambiance.
The structure comprises of 4 minarets, each standing tall at 165 ft. and a Grand Dome in the center, which is surrounded by 20 smaller domes. The most fascinating feature about this masterpiece is that the exterior consists of 4 million, 2.5 inch handmade Multani tiles made from special Multanimitti and hand placed by the craftsmen. Placing these tiles alone took 4 years to complete. The total capacity of this magnificent piece of Islamic architecture is 70,000 making it the worlds 7th Largest mosque. It has an indoor capacity of 25,000, labeling it Pakistan’s Largest Mosque. There are dedicated praying areas for women, a school and an Islamic Art Gallery.
