Wellfleet is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States, and is located halfway between the tip and elbow of Cape Cod. The town had a population of 2,750 at the 2010 census,[1] which swells nearly sixfold during the summer. A total of 70% of the town's land area is in protection, and nearly half of it is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Wellfleet is famous for its eponymous oysters, which are celebrated in the annual October Wellfleet OysterFest.

Cape Cod is an amazing destination for a vacation or if you apply for the work&travel program, you can enjoy the incredible nature all along the Cape, the bike trail is one of the best things to do here, you can enjoy the fresh air and cycle for almost 22 miles.
The sunsets are very special here, the colors you get to see here are something else.
Provincetown is one of the best places in the world when it comes to whale watching.
The Pligrim monument is a must do not only beacuse of the incredible views you get from the top but also because you can learn a lot about the history of Cape Cod at the Provincetown museum located at the bottom of the tower.
The resorts that you can find here are amazing, you can do a lot of activities there, you can check Ocean Edge for that.
Wrentham is a great place for shopping, everything is very cheap there.
You can enjoy Six flags, as it is one of the best amusement parks in US, you can have fun at the aquapark or at the rollercoaster area.
The beaches of Cape Cod are some of the best in the world, on the bay side or at the ponds you can get warm, calm water comparing to the ocean side where you will get cold water and huge waves.
Truro is perfect if you want to catch incredible views and see amazing houses, you can get inspired by their great architecture.
The Chatham Pier fish market is a great short stop that you need to make, you can see a lot of sea lions, seals or even sharks if you are lucky enough.
If you want to have fun, Beachcomber in Wellfleet is your best option on the Cape.
The Sagamore & Bourne bridges are very nice, you can get really good views from them of the Cape Cod canal.
The food on the Cape is delicious, almost everywhere you go you will get really good food.
When it comes to transportation, you can use the bus as it is very cheap and you can get everywhere you need by using them.
This guide is perfect especially if you’ve got a limited time to spend there, so you can decide what's a priority for yourself.

Lovely Contemporary Wellfleet Cape Cod Vacation Rental, Private and Close to Bay, property 3220
Our vacation home, a traditional saltbox cape, is situated on Indian Neck, on the bay side of Wellfleet. Surrounded by pine and oak woods, you are hardly aware of existing neighbors. The interior is totally contemporary. The fireplaced living room has a cathedral ceiling. The adjoining dining area leads to a large “dream” kitchen with all conveniences and a central island with breakfast bar. Both the dining area and living room open on a 500-square foot deck with grille.
There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both with twin beds and a shared bath. On the second floor is a very large master bedroom with queen bed; a “loft” and TV area with a sofabed overlook the living room and kitchen.
Our home was designed with the needs of children in mind, including the basement playroom. Due to limited parking, our local beach (5 min walk) is accessible only to nearby residents and us. The town beaches on the bay and the fresh water beaches at Great, Gull, and Long Ponds, are within 1 1/2 miles, and bike trails are within a mile. The ocean beaches are within two miles. We have cable TV, On Demand, and DVD. Also, high-speed cable internet access, available via wireless router to your laptop anywhere in the house (even when you should be at the beach!)

Cape Cod, a hook-shaped peninsula in southeastern Massachusetts, is a popular summertime destination. Its 15 main towns encompass quaint villages, seafood shacks, lighthouses, ponds and bay and ocean beaches. Provincetown, at the far tip, marks the Pilgrims’ first anchorage in the New World with a towering monument. A longtime haven for artists, gays and lesbians, P-town offers numerous galleries, theaters, cabarets and nightclubs.
Cape Cod is a geographic cape/island and independent land mass separated from the mainland by the Cape Cod Canal that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean in the easternmost part of the state of Massachusetts in the Northeastern United States. Its historic, maritime character and ample beaches attract heavy tourism during the summer months.
Cape Cod stretches from Provincetown in the northeast to Woods Hole in the southwest. Cape Cod, as defined by the Cape Cod Commission's enabling legislation, comprises Barnstable County. The Cape Cod Canal cuts 17.5 miles (28.2 km) roughly across the base of the peninsula, though the western boundary of the cape extends to include small portions of the towns of Bourne and Sandwich which lie on the mainland side of the canal.
Two road bridges cross the Cape Cod Canal: the Sagamore Bridge and the Bourne Bridge. In addition, the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge carries railway freight and limited passenger services onto the Cape. Cape territory is divided into fifteen towns with many villages.
