GREYFRIARS (Kirkyard / Graveyard) Our Haunted Scotland Project
This video represents a group of friends who take on the role as amateur paranormal investigators and urban explorers as they carry out a video blog investigation of, in this case, Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh, (Scotland). (Some events may be very funny, some are unexplained, however, what is seen on camera genuinely happened and isn't faked!) Thanks for watching!
This project is created for the interest of the general public in regards to the areas we explore as we indulge in our hobby of the paranormal, video production and exploration.
Our videos are what they are. The subject matter, music used, duration etc are all as we more or less like it. If anything isn't to your taste, please try another channel and don't give anyone a hard time. If you do like our videos however, great!... and subscribe for future uploads.
PLEASE NOTE: Our videos represent 'our personal' experience at the locations visited and do not state that others visiting the same location will share a similar impression. We also wish to point out that our 'approach' is not the most scientific and professional means of investigating the paranormal. Each to their own. We have entered at our own risk! Civil trespass, also known as simple trespass, is not a criminal offence in the U.K., particularly in Scotland. Should you be asked to leave, do so in a civil manner and never damage any building or property in order to gain access. Police will get involved if there's a possibility that a criminal offense has been committed such as refusal to leave, fire or theft etc. We are of course not responsible for those who, after watching any of our videos, get into bother by visiting any of the places we've been to.

Edinburgh 2019
Some highlights of our pre-Christmas break to Edinburgh in December 2019
We did some touristy things such as visiting the Christmas Market, Edinburgh Castle, Greyfriars Kirkyard, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament, along with having far too much good food and drink!
Our hotel of choice this time was the Mode Aparthotel on Queen Street where we were in a 1 bedroom apartment.

Greyfriars Graveyard 2017 - Is it really haunted?
Greyfriars Cemetery is in the old town of Edinburgh. Burials have been taking place since the late 16th century and it was involved in the Covenanters Movement, when the Presbyterian Covenanters refused to convert to the Church of England and were incarcerated at the Covenanters Prison, which is part of the Cemetery and is today locked by an iron gate with more vaults behind it. The Lord Advocate of the time, Sir George Mackenzie, is now known for his cruelty towards the imprisoned Covenanters for he left hundreds of them unprotected during a cold winter where many of them foze to death. After his own death he was buried on the same cemetery in the Black Mausuleum - the round vault which is still standing there.
In 1998 a homeless man seeking shelter broke into hos mausoleum. He ransacked the tomb, opened the casket of Bloody Mackenzie and fell through an opening in the floor into a chamber below, which was filled with was filled with the remains of plague victims. He ran off screaming.
Ever since, the cemetery seems to be haunted. People complain about bruises which appeared on ther bodies mysteriously, faints and other strange occurences.
Nevertheless, the cemetery now appears far more peaceful and friendly than it did on my previous visits.

EXPLORING EDINBURGH CASTLE & GREYFRIARS KIRKYARD
Helloooo!
In this video I spend the day in Edinburgh, exploring the castle and Greyfriars Kirkyard.
Greyfriars Bobby: The Story and The Statue in Edinburgh (Edimburgo, Escócia)
I mixed images from the movie The New Adventures of Greyfriars Bobby (not the Disney one) with my visit to the statue and the Greyfriars Cemetery (or kirkyard, or churchyard), so we can learn Bobby story by scenes of the film and the actual places that this facinating Skye Terrier dog lived.
More videos in Edinburgh on my channel youtube.com/diogok
Greyfriars Bobby was a Skye Terrier who became known in 19th-century Edinburgh after reportedly spending 14 years guarding the grave of his owner, John Gray, until he died himself on 14 January 1872. A year later, Lady Burdett-Coutts had a statue and fountain erected at the southern end of the George IV Bridge to commemorate him.

3,000 TOURISTS ATTACKED BY SCOTTISH POLTERGEIST
???????? 3,000 TOURISTS ATTACKED BY SCOTTISH POLTERGEIST ????????
Edinburgh is a spooky city, so I had to do a Halloween vlog to show just how scary it can be! I went on one of the many haunted ghost tours of the underground city, but want to show you where one particularly scary spirit lurks.
We went to the Black Mausoleum at Greyfriers Kirkyard and the adjoining Covenanter's Prison - said to be one of the most haunted places in all of Scotland, and where more than 3,000 attacks have taken place o people who tour the area.
The Mausoleum is the grave of Sir George Mackenzie, a former Lord Advocate whose persecution of the Covenanters in the 17th century earned him the nickname Bluidy Mackenzie.
Anyway, ghost stories aside, I have launched a project where I'm making a box filled with Scottish gifts and products and sending it to people in time for Christmas. Introducing BonnieBox, which could be the ideal present for the Scottish enthusiast in your life. To find out more, visit

I'm from Edinburgh in Scotland, one of only a handful of Scottish YouTubers / vloggers, and vlog about my daily life in Scotland and other countries I live at times, Scottish culture, life, the world, travel, culture and everything in between.
I just love to tell stories and have been lucky enough to make this passion a job, having worked as a writer/journalist, photographer and corporate content executive during my career. We are privileged to live in an era where we can tell our stories directly to an audience using new media. Storytelling on social media is my passion and it is also my new career (I’m also an entrepreneur in the space), so put everything into providing the best content I can here on my YouTube channel, over on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Jeremiah Cry Ministries Edinburgh Scotland Greyfriars Kirkyard Sightseeing
The No King But Christ Preaching Team visited Edinburgh Scotland and walked through the Greyfriars Kirkyard graveyard.
Greyfriars Kirkyard is the graveyard surrounding Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is located at the southern edge of the Old Town, adjacent to George Heriot's School. Burials have been taking place since the late 16th century, and a number of notable Edinburgh residents are interred at Greyfriars. The Kirkyard is operated by City of Edinburgh Council in liaison with a charitable trust, which is linked to but separate from the church. The Kirkyard and its monuments are protected as a category A listed building.[1]
