We stayed at Jimmy Buffet's Margarittaville in Playa Flamingo. We snorkeled and enjoyed the beach at Playa Conchel, did sunset snorkel cruise in Playa Flamingo, and did river cruise at Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Cipanci. It was an amazing vacation!!

This is a video that I made in an effort to show off my trip to Costa Rica. I spent seven weeks from May 12th until July 2nd, 2011, living in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica while giving English classes in the primary school, Escuela Puerto Rico, in Lagunilla, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Additionally, we travelled around the country as well, so we got to see a lot of the mountains and a lot of the beaches. It was an experience that I will never forget! I still can't believe that I am back home from it, and that I have spent seven weeks abroad.

This is a short video we put together based on a tradition a few small towns in Guanacaste, Costa Rica have over Easter time. They parade a Judas puppet around house-to-house on horseback, and play music and have people give him liquor. Then at midnight they burn the puppet. Not quite a church-sanctioned event, but typical and local nonetheless.

Costa Rica Tropical Adventure - Day 3 Tour 009
Day 3 started with an amazing costarican typical breakfast just beside Santa Teresa beach. The mission for day 3 was to get from Santa Teresa to Tamarindo (Guanacaste). This day is full of amazing adventure, riders go through the heart of one of the most picturesque costarican provinces, Guanacaste. This route is full of off-road challenges, we go through the Península de Nicoya crossing rivers, beaches, one track routes and lots of fun terrains. After the off-road route we hopped on pavement to get to our final destination, Tamarindo. Little did we know that an amazing sunset awaited for us while we rode. Once we reached our destination, the hotel, as usual, waited for us with cold towels and an ice cold beer. Later that night an exclusive Elephant Moto style dinner took place right beside Tamarindo beach, with live music and an unique guacamole with salmon. What a way to end the day.
