Spent a day at Guangzhou Metro Museum at the Wanshengwei Subway Station in Eastern Guangzhou. Some pretty cool stuff there. Spent the afternoon editing a vlog. Ate some dinner before another travel day the next day(whenever that video comes out lol).

The democracy of art and the use of public space are key components of this work. It is an indefinitely ongoing series and while each work stands on its own, they are interconnected through a shared distance to global cultural agendas and a quiet beauty emanating from the covert act of street performance. Live at the Museum is an investigation into the collective and institutional affirmation given to culture, while also functioning as a digital archive to cache the contribution of its participants.

This trip was full of fun and food! Special thanks to Ms. May for arranging everything, and Mr. Cao for touring us around and driving us all day. Guangzhou was a beautiful city of lights, and I'm happy our first experience of China was so amazing.
This was our itinerary:
Day 1 - Changlong International Circus
Day 2 - Beijing Road Shopping District, Guangzhou Sacred Heart Church, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Streets, Pearl River Tour
Day 3 - Xiang Jiang Safari Park (which included eating beside pandas at the Panda Restaurant and a drive-thru safari)
Day 4 - The Western Han Museum of Nanyue King Mausoleum, Guangzhou Yuexiu Park (where the Five-Ram statue--the symbol of Guangzhou--and Zhenhai tower were located), Massage at
Day 5 - Chen Family Temple - Guangdong Folk Art Museum, Shamien Island
