Mantua is a nice little city to have a weekend trip to, a lot of nature, amazing architecture, moreover, in 2016 Mantua has been chosen as a cultural capital of Italy! Me and my friend Katya visited Cremona as well, because I really wanted to visit the Violin Museum, which in fact turned out to be amazing.

It was a really great sunny day in Mantova. Extremely enjoyed, looking forward for more upcoming marvelous moments in Italy! CHARMING little city called MANTOVA - ITALY
MANTOVA - A small city with lots of beautiful things to explore. Right next to a river is a castle, in the city centre is an old church with a tower which is having instead of numbers the signs of the different zodiacs. Eating ice cream and relax in the shadows of a hundreds of years old cathedral. And best of all: cats, cats, cats.

Vlog #63 We are cycling the Sun Route (EuroVelo 7 in Italy), Ciclovia del Sole Bicitalia. As soon as we leave Tuscany, we see less (Dutch!) tourists, and get to experience 'real' Italy. When we are expecting we'll have to do some wild camping, we suddenly find a very nice, atmospheric agriturismo. The city Mantova is a gem.

Here we are guys, after a month of shooting in Mantova and surroundings, swaggy production is ready to drop the music video of the moment, who is going crazy on youtube, where every city is represented by the song of Pharrell : Happy. I'm so glad to make a video for Mantua on my own and to represent this town putting something of mine. The video will contain footage of people from Mantua that live in this city but also Milan, Trento, Florence, Rome and even in America. A beautiful day in MANTOVA (Italy) - My photos
Mantova is one of the most beautiful cities in Lombardy Region, (Italy) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It's really an incredible, priceless mix of wonderful art and culture.
Mantova has very ancient origines, that can be traced back to the Etruscan era and it reached its maximum glory during the long lordship of Gonzaga's family.
We spent a so gorgeous day in this enchanting city strolling through the ancient streets, admiring wonderful Churches and Cathedrals and spectacular, colorful buildings.
Finally, before sunset, we reached the nearby village of Sabbioneta, one of the most beautiful in Italy.
Sabbioneta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site too, and it's another jewel built by the Gonzaga's.
It's a fortified village built according to the proportions and ideal of harmony symbolized by the design of the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci.
Shame to have arrived only at sunset. It was fascinating, but we didn't have much time to spend in this awesome place.
A good reason to come back and enjoy a few extra-hours in Sabbioneta!.
