Harpersfield Bridge is a covered bridge spanning the Grand River in Harpersfield Township, Ashtabula County, Ohio, United States. This double-span Howe truss bridge, one of currently 16 drivable covered bridges in the county, is the second longest covered bridge in Ohio at 228 feet.
A flood in 1913 washed away the land at the north end of the bridge, and the steel span was subsequently attached. The bridge features a walkway, added during its renovation in 1991-92. The bridge also features an Ashtabula County MetroPark at its north end, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places[1]. The bridges WGCB number is 35-04-19[2], and it is located approximately 3.4 mi (5.4 km) south of Geneva.

Here I Recorded Using My SONY HDR-CX405 Digital Handycam HD Video Camera Camcorder Recorder I Placed On My Dash Inside My Vehicle While I Was Driving of Driving Through South & North & Seeing The Side of The Harpersfield Covered Bridge On Harpersfield Road In Hapersfield Ohio In December Dec 2016. Little Facts About This Covered Bridge, It Was Built In The Year 1868 Which In 2016 Would Make It 148 Years Old And For 2017 Make It 149 Years Old And The Big Moment of 2018 of 150 Years Old. It's 228 Feet Long or 69.5 Meters Long. It's The 3rd Longest Covered Bridge In Ohio. Reason There's 2 Howe Truss Bridges To The North of The Covered Bridge, Is Because of A Flood In The Year 1913 Took Out Part of The North Half of The Covered Bridge & So They Shorten It Up To What You See Today. This Covered Bridge Spans The Grand River. Sorry Short Ending With Video, My Camera Battery Died. As For The Photo, I Wanted To Outline It In A Oval To Make It Look Nice.

Secondary Benefits of Buffalo District's Harpersfield Dam Project in Geneva, OH
The main goal of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Buffalo District’s new sea lamprey barrier at the Harpersfield Dam in Geneva, Ohio is limiting the migration of aquatic invasive species. The project has many additional economic, recreational and infrastructure benefits, and will not impact the historic bridge. This project is funded by the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, a multi-agency coalition committed to creating a new standard of care that will leave the Great Lakes better for the next generation.
In short, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is #BuildingStrong and #MovingDirt.
