It has heaps of Thai street food and Thai market food on offer. You’ll find fried, barbecued and steamed foods, fish & seafood, salads, noodle & rice dishes, Thai desserts, cakes, ice cream, pancakes, freshly made fruit juices and heaps of other things too. There’s also masses of clothes, shoes, watches, jewelry, sunglasses, Cds & DVDs, souvenirs and everything else you would expect to find at a market in Thailand. If you love Thai Street & Thai Market Food or shopping be sure to visit this market in Hat Yai. The choices of Thai food and Thai cuisine on offer are amazing.
Thai street food is everywhere in Thailand, you’ll find it from Bangkok to Pattaya to Phuket and everywhere in between. It’s cheap and it is really delicious! At markets like this all the food is cooked fresh, as they sell it, and as I mentioned, it is delicious! Street food is some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand!
Thai Street Food is a must to try if you’re on holidays in Thailand. Thailand food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for over 5 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

Klong Hae Floating Market in Hat Yai
Klonghae Floating Market is the jewel of Songkhla province. Around four kilometers from Hat Yai, on the weekends this canal is covered in permanently moored boats selling some of the finest goods the region has to offer. Vendors here sell everything from home- cooked food to tropical fruits and and other snacks, all for unbelievably reasonable prices. So I’m going to take a ride on this boat and see all there is to offer! Come join me!
Large boats like this one take passengers out on the canal for around 20 baht a person. The market has no entrance fee, and most of the food ranges around 20 baht as well. The coconuts are opened right to order, and taste delicious – especially underneath the beating hot sun. The vendors use little baskets at the end of bamboo sticks to pass food and also receive money from their customers.
The vendors package the food using bamboo tubes, coconut shells and banana leaves. Sometimes they use clay pots as well, instead of using plastic bags and foam boxes. It’s a nice touch that’s not only authentic but environmentally-friendly. The stalls are also not just about food either – there’s also vendors selling shirts, bags and crystal. While you’re shopping, it’s likely the sun will start to go down over the canal... the view is absolutely beautiful!
So when you come to Hat Yai, make sure you go to the Klonghae Floating Market. You’ll leave with a full stomach and great memories. It’s open Friday to Sunday from 3 pm to 9 pm.

Khlong Hae Floating Market is the first floating market in Southern Thailand and it is opened a few years ago. The floating market is located near Hatyai city and only operates from Friday to Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. This is another attraction for tourists to go in Hatyai.
Let's go Shopping at Greenway Night Market | Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand | ตลาดนัดกรีนเวย์
Greenway Night Market opens from Tuesday-Sunday. There are a great variety of products ranging from clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and many more. There is also a food court where you can have tasty food and snacks.
I like the atmosphere at the market because most of it is open-air. If you love shopping, this place can definitely be on your list. Price bargaining is allowed. You can get pretty dresses at affordable/cheap prices, Hahaha I'm loving it. xxx

Thai Food at Tha Kha Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำท่าคา) - Don't Miss Aunty's Fried Oyster Omelet!
►Read the blog for details on how you can visit Tha Kha Floating Market:
►Subscribe now for more food videos:
►Camera gear I use:
There are many floating markets you can visit when you’re in Thailand, and even there are some floating markets located right within Bangkok that are very nice (Khlong Lat Mayom is very nice in Bangkok:
Then there are also many floating markets about a 1 or 1.5 hour drive from Bangkok in a province called Samut Songkhram. In Samut Songkhram there are a number of other famous floating markets. Damnoen Saduak is the most famous of all, and it’s very touristy and gets very packed on the weekend. Amphawa is another Thai floating market that’s big and busy. But I wanted to go to a quieter and more peaceful floating market, so we decided to go to Tha Kha Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำท่าคา), located very close to Amphawa.
It was my first time to visit Tha Kha Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำท่าคา), and I was pleasantly surprised by how small, friendly, and local it was. There’s not a whole lot to do, but there are plenty of floating boats serving food and you can also buy lots of fresh ingredients which come from this area.
Along with plenty of Thai food snacks I ate during this tour of Tha Kha Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำท่าคา), the best thing was the hoy tod (หอยทอด), a fried oyster omelet. There’s something about eating an oily fried oyster omelet when you go to a floating market - it’s kind of like going to a sports game and eating a hot dog - they just go so well together.
I also enjoyed the fruits available at the market, especially starfruit, which was likely picked right off the tree of the lady who was selling it.
When you’re in Thailand, if you want to go to a quiet and peaceful floating market that’s not overly busy and still remains quite local Tha Kha Floating Market (ตลาดน้ำท่าคา) is an amazing option.
