Kukaniloko Birthstones (Oahu, Hawaii) LookIntoHawaii.com
The Kukaniloko Birth Stones were used long ago by chiefs and chiefesses who would come here for the birth of their children. A child that was born here was assured a high ranking status. There used to be a Ho'olonopahu Heiau here as well but that was (unfortunately) removed back in the days when sugar cane and pineapple fields ruled.

Another Legacy of Hawai'i's Voyaging Chiefs: Models of Successful Leadership
presented by Dr. Kēhaunani Abad
What might today's Hawaiian community leaders share in common with Hawai'i's legendary chiefs? Many aspects of what are considered to be foundational Hawaiian leadership traits stem from the era of voyaging chiefs. Learn how historic circumstances shaped social interactions of leaders past and established successful models of behavior that were emulated in later generations of ali'i. Dr. Abad gives a captivating look into those lessons learned, and how they remain as relevant today as they were long ago.

Into The Lost Park-Sacred Falls Oahu Hawaii
Hiking adventure to Sacred Falls. The park is closed due to unsafe conditions and a rock slide that tragically killed and injured many people many years back on mothers day. We live on this island and wanted to pay our respects. We picked up any garbage we saw along the way and did not swim out of respect. This is a Sacred Place to the Hawaiian people and should be treated that way of you decide to go. The feeling of Mana in the valley is strong. Sacred Falls is a beautiful special place but it is also dangerous as it is a canyon and rock slides are known to happen. If you decide to go do so at your own risk as it is also illegal to hike. People died there please be respectful.
