One of the World's most unique Snowsports destinations is Heavenly Mountain Resort. The ski hill encompasses 4800 acres in California and Nevada, overlooking spectacular Lake Tahoe and the Carson Valley. Expert skiers and riders are challenged by a steep long mogul run down the face on Gunbarrel in the Golden State...with Mott and Killebrew Canyons on the Silver State's side of the mountain. Intermediates can make turns on dozens of screaming groomed runs, and Heavenly is known for it's tremendous learning center with plenty of beginning areas. Snowboarders have numerous terrain parks, to challenge, but the terrain isn't exactly favorable for riders who are faced with long slow traverses going from State to State. The Gondola from South Lake Tahoe Stateline transports skiers and riders 2000 vertical feet, where the new Tamarack Lodge is the focal point. There is a tubing park and zip line for other snowsports enthusiasts and the scenery from just about anywhere is breathtaking.

It offers a free shuttle to the Stateline Casino area, 5 miles away. A 42-inch flat-screen TV and a DVD player are provided in apartment at The Ridge Crest. The apartment includes a spa bath, a fireplace, a sofa bed, a seating area and BBQ facilities. The fully equipped kitchen includes cutlery and a dining area. Guests of Ridge Crest have access at a shared facility to an indoor or outdoor pool and hot tub. If they prefer, they can visit an indoor sports complex featuring tennis and basketball courts or enjoy a game of miniature golf. Complimentary ski lockers are provided to guests of The Ridge Crest. Boulder Lodge Heavenly Ski Resort 2019

First day of snowboarding. We went to Boulder Lodge, a beginner's lift. Gabriel went to Snowboarding/Ski School since he was five years old. Since he wasn't able to snowboard all the time, he was still on the process of learning the basic of snowboarding. He already knows how to place his stance (sort of the same as surfing), and do heel break. In this video, he is doing a falling leaf. A lot of falling though, but he was very persistent and eager to learn.
