Trivia about the temple -
Param Pujya Guruvarya Dadasaheb Hate Om Shree Maha Laxmi Mata Mandir Trust owns Hedavde Mahalaxmi Temple. The temple, situated in Hedavde village near Vasai, forms an important part of a famous Shakti Peetha. The Shakti Peetha to which this temple belongs is the one where Goddess Sati's ankle fell during the fierce Tandava by Lord Shiva while He was on His way to Kailash.
This temple has an elaborate story behind it, which states that it was built somewhere in the 19th century. One night, a goddess appeared in the dream of P.P. Dadasaheb Hate, who was a local goldsmith and farmer. The goddess commanded him to take Her idol out of the ground and construct a temple. Following the dream, the man excavated the exact site and found a statue of Goddess Laxmi that was covered in mud and sindur. A temple was built at the spot, which gained immense recognition over the years. Babasaheb Hate started the daily custom of Maha Prasad here.
Several rites and rituals take place at Hedavde Mahalaxmi Temple on a daily basis. It is flocked by a large number of devotees during various festivals including Guru Purnima, Ghat Stapana, Hom Havan, Dasra, Tripurari Purnima and Shree Gurudat Jayanti. Prativarshik Yatra – the annual procession of the temple – takes place in the month of May.

Miracle Navgraha Mandir
Navagrahs have emerged from monolithic rock embedded in earth, All navagrahs facing in direction mentioned in scriptures one of it's kind in whole world.The Origin of Navgrah story in Hedavde Mahalaxmi Mandir:
Few year after during the process of renovation of the temple had started, it was decided to make as much space as possible for the devotees.
The work was going on in full pace with the grace of Mata, on northern side of the Mandir the workers came across a huge rock. The rock was about 20 feet x 20 feet wide and 3 feet above ground level. it was very difficult to move so engineers suggested 3 options
1. To cut the rock with Pneumatic hammer
2. Blasting and
3. The last one heavy earth moving machinery to be used to cut the rock.
One by one all options were tried but of no avail.
Heavy earth movers were called in but, whenever they went within the vicinity of the rock they used to face some or the other problems. There was a lot of frustration in the air as the construction work was not moving further.
Brand new machine was called similar machines were used in past to create road through ghats. The machine landed on the premise no sooner it started, its hydraulic system bursted.
The same night Rakesh Dada had a vision from Hedavde Mahalakshmi mata explaining Navgrah sitting in the rock and as per her instructions rock was not to be disturbed and work to be proceeded omitting the area.
After few months Few day later few artistic craftsmen visited the Hedavde Mahalakshmi temple and there was discussion about the navagrahas. As per instruction and guidance from Rakesh Dada they started the work on Shub Muhurta. Area was cordoned and marked carefully.
Rakesh Dada offered special Prayers and pooja were offered and eventually they witnessed miracle there, the stones started coming out like butter without any effort. Previously which all latest equipment could not do was done by orthodox sculpturing tools
One by one the Navagrahas started appearing in form, each different from the other. Each navgrah was unique in its own aura and charm. The navagrahas are in deep trance without any stress in eternal meditation under blessing of Mahalaxmi Mata.

Original temple of Vajreshwari Devi at Goonj 1
Original temple of Vajreshwari or Mool sthan is located at Goonj and Katai in Wada taluka, Maharashtra, This temple was destroyed by portuguese during their reign. Later it was moved to Vadvali where Chimaji appa built new temple after his victory.
Mool sthan is very important but it neglected and hardly has any visitors. It is presently managed by Giri family staying in vicinity.

Mahalaxmi Temple is one of the most famous temples of Mumbai situated on Bhulabhai Desai Road in Mahalaxmi area. It is dedicated to Mahalakshmi the central deity of Devi Mahatmyam. The temple was built in 1831 by Dhakji Dadaji, a Hindu merchant.
