Feeding Heineman Winery sparrows by hand on PIB
Having some Vino with the wife & friends at Heinemans Winery at Put In Bay, the sparrows were every where and very close to us, so I leaned over and Wham! Birdie took it from me. =) Next time I'll catch one. lol
Boardwalk - Put-in-Bay, Ohio
The Boardwalk's Famous Lobster Bisque, Seafood and More. Best views of the Bay. Dine at the Upper Deck or Book's Seafood or enjoy a margarita at Rita's Cantina.
Drought and Ohio Wine
Stoney Ridge Farm & Winery will have an excellent 2012 wine vintage thanks to the drought this year. The grapes have a higher sugar content and lower acid. The downside is a nearly 70% reduction in yield and the inability to raise prices due to their remote location.

PUT-IN-BAY vlog! - June 2016
6.9.2016
Megan and I hopped on a ferry out of Port Clinton to Put in Bay, aka South Bass Island, aka the Key West of Ohio. We visited two wineries, toured a cave, mined for gems, visited a National Monument, and did a little exploring on both bike and on foot. This was my fourth visit to the island, my last visit being in 2009.
Thanks for watching!

Exploring Ohio's Wine Country - Geneva, Ohio
We stumbled across Ohio's Wine Country in Geneva, Ohio! There are a great selection of wineries to check out. Make sure you try Ice Wine! Try it at several wineries because they don't all taste the same. For those exploring with kids like we are, it's extra special when wineries surprise the kids with their own *non-alcoholic* tasting cups!
