A Few Drinks At the Bar Hemingway, Hotel Ritz, Paris
Bar Hemingway was the favourite bar of Ernest Hemingway and is said by some[who?] to be the birthplace of the Bloody Mary cocktail which was invented for him. However, the claim is disputed as Fernand Petiot claimed to have invented the drink in 1921 while working at Harry's New York Bar, a frequent Paris hangout for Hemingway and other American expatriates, rather than in the bar in the Ritz itself. The bar has been restored to its original appearance, with rich wood panelling and leather upholstery and has 25 original photographs on the walls taken by the author of places and people that inspired him.

Ernest Hemingway's Paris-Hemingway's favorite bars, brasseries, and cafes in Paris.
I've been fortunate enough to be in Paris and visit some of Hemingway's favorite haunts. I spend a lot of my mornings in cafes just sitting and observing. I am starting to understand Hemingway's description of Paris being a moveable feast. This place seems to impact me in ways that no other place has have done before. I've been having a good time tracing Hemingway's steps and imagining him sitting in the cafes writing and at the bars laughing amongst friends.
I've included the addresses to the various bars and cafes in this video. Thanks for watching my video. Go out and travel!

A Walk Through The Hotel Ritz, Paris
The Ritz Paris is a hotel in central Paris, in the 1st arrondissement. It overlooks the octagonal border of the Place Vendôme at number 15. The hotel is ranked among the most luxurious hotels in the world and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The Ritz Paris reopened on 6 June 2016 after a major four-year, multimillion-dollar renovation.
The hotel, which today has 159 rooms, was founded in 1898 by the Swiss hotelier, César Ritz, in collaboration with the French chef, Auguste Escoffier. The new hotel was constructed behind the façade of an 18th-century town house, overlooking one of Paris's central squares. It was among the first hotels in Europe to provide a bathroom en suite, a telephone and electricity for each room. It quickly established a reputation for luxury, with clients including royalty, politicians, writers, film stars and singers. Several of its suites are named in honour of famous guests of the hotel, including Coco Chanel and Ernest Hemingway. One of the bars of the hotel, Bar Hemingway, is devoted to Hemingway. L'Espadon is a world-renowned restaurant, attracting aspiring chefs from all over the world who come to learn at the adjacent Ritz-Escoffier School. The grandest suite of the hotel, called the Suite Impériale, has been listed by the French government as a national monument in its own right.

Hemingway in Paris
I'm reading my 4th book about Ernest Hemingway. Not what Hemingway wrote, but what other people wrote about him! I've been to the city of love and lights (Paris) twice. I can only imagine living there. I wanted Ernest to stay faithful and in love with Elizabeth Hadley all his life, but that was not to be.
The Internet if chock full of photos during the time period of which I have been reading. This is a collection of those photos with the music of I Love Paris. The video is simple and pure. To add movement took too much detail from some of the photos.

The Spirited Travels Visits The Hemingway Bar & Tries an Absinthe Cocktail- Prague
While in Prague, I made sure to visit the Hemingway Bar as it came highly recommended as THE place for proper absinthe cocktails. So check out my video of The Fairy Tale being made & presented--which is quite the visual treat.
The Fairy Tale contains French absinthe, which while not one of my favorite liquors, is delicious in this cocktail.

Pluses:
Everying is perfect. Beautiful hotel, very nice receptionist showing the room and treat you like VIP. The swimming is beautiful. Nice mich down into the water.
Everything was perfect. From the phone call the day before asking what time we will be arriving, to the bottle of Champagne that was put in our room as we were there for our anniversary. I must say. The staff are outstanding. The perfect weekend get away.
Where do we start. From the quality of the rooms to the exceptional customer service to the feeling of just being in such a historic building, it's quite possibly the most amazing place we have ever stayed. I haven't even mentioned The Ritz Club, where the pool is outstanding, the gym and Chanel spa were second to none and how could we ever forget Bar Hemingway where Collin dazzled us with his amazing cocktails and quirky humour night upon night. Credit to all the staff that made our stay so memorable. I love this Place!
Minuses:
View may not good. Looking to your neighbor. For this point, they can't not be the No. 1 in the world. Of course you can pay double or triple Price for a view.

A Moveable Feast quickly became a source of comfort for many Parisians in the wake of the deadliest attack the city had seen since World War II.
A Brasserie Fit for a President (my experience at la Rotonde in Paris Montparnasse)
Today I am taking you on a tour of the cafe brasserie la Rotonde in Paris Montparnasse. This famous establishment serves only classic french food prepared the traditional way as well as beautiful seafood platters. the produce used are the best in their categories.
Unlike many establishments in Montparnasse, La Rotonde has retained much of its bohemian charm and continues in operation to this day as a popular spot for the Parisian crowds.
On the evening of the first round of the French presidential election, 2017, Emmanuel Macron and his entourage celebrated the result at La Rotonde - Brasserie .
