30 THINGS TO DO IN MULLICA HILL IN 30 DAYS 2019- Day 19 Old Mill Antique Mall
Hello I’m Nancy Kowalik broker/owner of the Nancy Kowalik Real Estate Group this is 30 things to do in
Mullica Hill in 30 days version 2019 and I am standing in the iconic Old Mill in the center of town, that
big red building that has floors and what seems like acres and acres of cool things. So, I have been
coming here for decades, in fact, before I moved to Mullica hill this was how I found Mullica Hill. So,
there’s things from jewelry to uniforms, things for Halloween that I came and searched out right? There
are things for Christmas, everyday items to make your home spectacular. Jim, what else don’t we know
about the old mill?
Oh, it’s got about 15 different antique dealers here, they have just about everything in the way of
antiques and collectibles and they work as a co-op, we will each spend a little time selling things each
day, they’ll take turns.
And they bring their own specialties in, right? So, you have people who ephemera or paper goods
Yeah things for the kitchen, tools, old tools, old furniture, clocks, lamps, just about everything
Old toys too right?
Old toys.
Really cool things, it's so much fun to come and explore and learn a little bit about the history of items,
the history of our area and to find things that are eclectic that maybe are gonna make your home a little
more special and it's certainly a lot of fun coming in here and talking to some of the folks that are in here
because they have a love for these items as well and that is different
Some people come just to look around and see what is here and what things used to be used for, how
they used to look.
Right and sometimes even if you don’t find the perfect thing, you are gonna come away with a great
story because you get those things here, the story of the item too. So it’s iconic, its fun, and its
something you need to make part of your 30 days in Mullica Hill. This is Jim, I forgot to introduce Jim,
thanks for taking your time today to talk to us, much appreciated.
Thank you for coming.
My pleasure. I’m Nancy Kowalik again, this is 30 things to do in Mullica Hill in 30 days version 2019 here
at the Old Mill. Make it a great day! Mall.

Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery - Princeton, New Jersey
This is a great place to visit especially during the Fall. With fresh fruit and veggies as well as events during festival season, the whole family can have a day full of fun. Alongside a working orchard and farm, is a winery and vineyard owned and operated by Pam and Gary Mount. They took their first adventure in grape vines back in 2003. Among the varietals planted are Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Terhune wines have been available for the last four years. In addition to grape wines, apple wines are also made here with apple cider. Additional grapes from other vineyards are also sourced for wine making. The tasting room is in a historic 150 year old barn. You can belly up to the wine tasting bar and select from eleven wines. There are two good whites to try. The Farmhouse white is a white grape blend with a nice Chardonnay crispness, without being overly oaked. The Chardonnay has just a touch of oak and a clean, crisp dry finish. The Vidal Blanc is a nice smooth wine with fruity aromas and flavors. For reds, check out the Chambourcin. It is medium bodied and dry with a fresh finish. The Apple wine is actually a dry apple wine. It's crisp, aromatic and presents some citrus notes. The Barn Red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc (50/50). The tannins on this one are soft and it is one of the fuller bodied varietals available. The Red Rooster is a sweeter red, but not too sweet and is quite pleasant. The Cold Soil White is a semi-sweet blend of Vidal Blanc and Orange Muscat. The two white grapes complement each other quite nicely in this wine! After the Cold Soil White, try the Porch Breeze. It will be similar to the Cold Soil, but with Niagra grapes providing that sweet blush shade. Strangely, it almost taste like strawberry wine! The Just Peachy wine is actually an apple wine made from cider with peach essence added. It will keep you happy and warm on those first chilly fall nights. End off with the Harvest Blue, a mix of blueberry and apple, for a nice tart and crisp taste. You'll be pleased with everything you try here. Take your time here when visiting. The country side setting and locally made wine is a wonderful setting! Cheers!!

Historic Stony Brook Estate in Princeton, New Jersey
Presented by Callaway Henderson Sotheby's International Realty
For more information go to:
Ten minutes from Princeton's historic downtown, an elegant gated estate awaits its next owner. Set amidst nearly 8 acres of rolling lawns dotted with specimen trees and masterfully planted flower beds to provide color for every season, are the restored main house (a portion dates to the early 1700's, built by Quaker contemporaries of William Penn), a carriage house and 2-bedroom cottage, trellises to support old grape vines and wisteria, a bountiful vegetable garden and pool, gazebo and tennis court. Inside, deep window sills, multiple fireplaces and expertly crafted millwork hint at the home's heritage. Former owners, among them Princeton University Dean Christian Gauss, mentor to F. Scott Fitzgerald, expanded on that gracious legacy. With an eye toward modern living, the current owners added a master bedroom suite with spa bath; two-story library with fireplace, floor-to-ceiling shelves with rolling ladder and spiral staircase; private office wing and cook's kitchen, all accented by teak and mahogany hand-carved panels and beams from Thailand.

Harvest Host Free Camping at Rumbleway Farm in Maryland
15% Off Harvest Hosts:
On this Airstream Life vLog, we arrive to spend the night at Rumbleway Farm in Maryland as part of the Harvest Host program. The Harvest Host membership allows to camp here on this beautiful farm for free!
When we arrived the owners were busy running the farm so we parked the Airstream out of the way until they were back. While waiting Penny got to see her first peacock. She was very interested in it and didn't quite know what to make of it.
Once they returned we checked in and got set up on a nice level spot on their property. Then we went to check out the farm store. So many delicious products. We ended up buying some ground beef, sausages, and scrapple all from their animals. How cool is that? Everything was frozen so we didn't eat them there but are planning some awesome dinners in the future.
After shopping at the store we sat out to have happy hour and then watch the sunset. So gorgeous! You never know what you will get when you go to a Harvest Host but it is almost always quiet and beautiful!
We spent a peaceful night...not even disturbed by the peacocks before we started heading towards Delaware. We highly recommend Rumbleway Farms if you are driving through Maryland in the future.
Stay tuned for our adventures in Delaware in our next video.

SUMMARY
=======
New Jersey is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the Northeastern United States. It is a peninsula, bordered on the north and east by the state of New York; on the east, southeast, and south by the Atlantic Ocean; on the west by the Delaware River and Pennsylvania; and on the southwest by the Delaware Bay and Delaware. New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state by area but the 11th-most populous, with 9 million residents as of 2017, and the most densely populated of the 50 U.S. states. New Jersey lies completely within the combined statistical areas of New York City and Philadelphia and is the third-wealthiest state by median household income as of 2016.New Jersey was inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, with historical tribes such as the Lenape along the coast. In the early 17th century, the Dutch and the Swedes made the first European settlements in the state. The English later seized control of the region, naming it the Province of New Jersey after the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey, and granting it as a colony to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War in the 18th century.
In the 19th century, factories in cities (known as the Big Six), Camden, Paterson, Newark, Trenton, Jersey City, and Elizabeth helped to drive the Industrial Revolution. New Jersey's geographic location at the center of the Northeast megalopolis, between Boston and New York City to the northeast, and Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., to the southwest, fueled its rapid growth through the process of suburbanization in the second half of the 20th century. In the first decades of the 21st century, this suburbanization began reverting with the consolidation of New Jersey's culturally diverse populace toward more urban settings within the state, with towns home to commuter rail stations outpacing the population growth of more automobile-oriented suburbs since 2008.
