Kirill Ovchinnikov - a Russian photographer - Uses large-format camera TOYO Field. Analogue against digital formatThe photographer used to work for main glossy magazines in Russia and abroad. He uses old camera which is heavy and not comfortable to use. But it worth doing it, especially when it comes to architectural and interior shootings. Such magazines as AD and Elle Decor are the fans of his shootings. Today this kind of shooting is more expensive and too long for production. And people less and less are interested in the quality. But museums and collectors find this work precious. We can talk about his projects of Russian North which participated in many exhibitions all over the world or/and about pictures of Moscow architecture which are also very famous. The photographer has to use more and more digital camera when he works on assignments. But he believes that analog is much more precious then digital. We can invite in his studio the photo-editor of famous Russian editions to ask him why it is so today. And what waits us in the future.
