Hiller Aviation Museum
The Hiller Aviation Museum, located in San Carlos just south of San Francisco, the Hiller Museum has a lot of aircraft that you are allowed to touch, and some you shouldn't. They offer computer flight simulator sessions, and access to their restoration shop. There is an engine display area, containing a few jets, but many early radial piston engines.
The museum was founded by Stanley Hiller, Jr., in June 1998. and is endowed by members of the Hiller Family (owners of the Hiller Aircraft Corporation, an early helicopter pioneer). It specializes in Northern California aircraft history and helicopter history. The museum is also an affiliate within the Smithsonian Affiliations program.

I have a few corrections to make in this video, my grandfather George Stein worked for Hughes Aircraft where was one of the 3rd persons to fly over the Atlantic Ocean in the China Clipper (not 42nd as I stated in the video). He also worked on the Space Shuttle for NASA and engineered modified old bomber aircraft planes so they can add computers. His Company was Stein Engineering. At one point we had a wind tunnel built in our living room for NASA. As a child 1st Airplane I flew in landed in the water. Catalina Seaplanes, I'm in love with them! Of course after I flew in many commercial airplanes that landed on the ground. As a young adult I flew around Catalina Island in a Cessna 150 sword fish spotting. Later I was one of the independent camera at the 1 Air Show Honoring the Tuskeegee Airmen and interviewed the 1st Black Pilots of America and the 1 Black General of America General Davis. Which also landed me to have the honor of Flying in the lead Airplane with the president of the Confederate Air force Milo Skycheck in his PT-17. Then I flew in the gunner nose of a B-25 Bomber. Eventually a P-51 and a old Beechcraft. I've also flown in the channel 5 helicopter, and a police helicopter. Whew! So as you can imagine I had the aviation bug all my life. Eventually I took a lesion with California Airways with @keith Amaro and got to fly over the Golden gate bridge in a Cessna 172! Basically; lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky ...and lucky!!

Presentation By Kurt Olney
crew chief on the YO-3A during the Vietnam War,
QUIET AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION QT-2PC & Y0-3A
On a still night, the Lockheed Y0-3A Quiet Star, flying at 1000 feet, was inaudible from the ground. This quiet night-flying spy plane collected intelligence in Vietnam until late 1971 and then was used by the FBI in crime surveillance and by NASA for sonic noise measurements.
Its stealth was achieved by a very slow-turning propeller and highly quieted exhaust, together with other sound deadening techniques. An advanced electro-optical sensor permitted the Quiet Star to detect a person one mile away in faint moonlight. The sensor operator sat in front, the pilot in the rear seat. Lockheed secretly built eleven of these aircraft in a Menlo Park, California, industrial park, using many components of a Schweizer glider to expedite development.
