Jackson is the county seat of Madison County, Tennessee. Located 70 miles (110 km) east of Memphis, it has long been associated with the large city in trade. Its total population was 65,211 at the 2010 census and 67,265 in the 2012 Census estimate.

The Derby Diversity & Business Summit is an event that will be held in Louisville, KY. Louisville is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States. The Derby Diversity & Business Summit is a four-day event that brings together elite Women, LGBTBE, Minority and Veteran Owned Enterprises to develop lasting relationships with each other and gain inspiration for their continued success. Attendees of the DDBS will benefit from development seminars, panel discussions, and business and policy leaders who will share their keys to success and the work being done to improve growth in the area of business diversity. DDBS will cover several fascinating topics: Big Data, The Rise of Block Chain, Advanced manufacturing. The Derby Diversity & Business Summit seeks to help leaders of large corporate entities develop and strengthen ties with diverse owned businesses who have strong capacity and scalability that can help grow the corporation’s market share. To accomplish our mission, we identify projects in which we can provide funding that supports education, business development and training initiatives for organizations committed to the advancement of Diverse Owned Businesses. Each year the DDBS committee chooses an organization that meets specific criteria and aligns with our objectives of strengthening the capacity and scale of Diverse Owned Businesses.
