Louisiana Boardwalk: QUICK OVERVIEW
Louisiana Boardwalk: QUICK OVERVIEW.
Just a quick overview of the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City. The Eldorado Casino, Margaritaville Casino, Bass Pro Shops, Selfie Spot, a soda shop, and the Red River are all filmed in this quick overview. If you're originally from or near Bossier City or Shreveport then you know the obvious. Bossier City and Shreveport are both just one city seperated by the Red River even though they're both in two seperate Parishes. Bossier City is in Bossier Parish while Shreveport is in Caddo Parish.
Louisiana is Sportsman's Paradise. It has some other nicknames as well with more hidden gems/Southern charm than possibly any other State. Keep Louisiana beautiful! As always, thanks for watching!

Description:
Reminiscent of some European markets, this open-air mall features shopping, dining and music in a tradition that is uniquely New Orleans. From Café du Monde near Jackson Square to the market at the end of Esplanade Avenue, there are five blocks of specialty retail shops and a community flea market with locally-made jewelry, clothing and art.
A Historically Popular Shopping Area
Founded in 1791, New Orleans' French Market is the oldest public market in the country and has played a historic role in the development of the city's economy. From the Native Americans who brought herbs and spices to African-Americans who brought coffee and pralines, the market has always been a popular trading post. Spanish, French, Italian, German and Caribbean immigrants have all mixed and mingled here to give birth to New Orleans' unique culture.
Cajun and Creole Cuisine
There's a lot of great local cuisine to be had at the French Market. Locals and visitors alike often start the day off at the Café du Monde with a piping hot café au lait and an order of beignets. Indulge in fine Creole cuisine at Tujague's and enjoy a po-boy at a number of other restaurants in the area. On the weekends, the open-air Gazebo Restaurant and Market Café feature live jazz.

Natchitoches, Louisiana “ The City of Lights”. 12/9/2017
December 9, 2017. A look at The historical downtown Natchitoches, Louisiana. The downtown area of Natchitoches, on Cane River is lit up every year for the Christmas season. Natchitoches is called “The City of Lights”, for this reason. This is the 91st year for Natchitoches to have this celebration. There is Christmas lights, live music and entertainment, food and many activities for the kids. Of course, Santa is there too. The kids can take pictures with Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas. It is nice to walk the streets of downtown Natchitoches, see all of the shops, look at the lights, eat and enjoy the music and entertainment.

908 +/- Acres For Sale Near Marksville in Avoyelles Parish, LA
When you think of Avoyelles Parish, the first thing that comes to mind is the great hunting it offers, with big bucks and lots of great duck hunting. This property offers both. It may be one of the last opportunities in many years to purchase a large tract of hunting property in Avoyelles Parish as they very rarely ever come up for sale. This is an older, established WRP tract, planted in 1993. Local officials believe it to be the oldest WRP in Avoyelles Parish and the 25th oldest in the state. The stand of planted bottomland hardwood species that cover most of the tract had a 90% survival rate with some of the trees almost 40 feet tall. A possible thinning, is in the near future.
This tract consists of 908 total acres, 839 acres enrolled in WRP, and the balance in some natural bottomland hardwood habitat, and a 7+/- acre campsite/homesite. The beautiful campsite is on a high ridge with huge oaks, and overlooks a cypress studded natural lake called Lac Bois Sec. Electricity and a water well is in place along with a nice barn/equipment shed on a slab. A limestone road leads from the gated access to the campsite. From the gate you can be in Marksville in 5 minutes to enjoy all the amenities it offers such as shopping, dining, and entertainment. For the golfers, Spring Bayou Country Club is less than 2 miles from the gate. As close as it is to town you will feel like you are a million miles from anywhere when you are on this amazing property.
Over 100 acres of natural lake and shallow water areas offer great duck hunting along with fishing, frogging, and crawfishing. Two ten foot water control structures are in place for maintaining proper water levels. Small game hunting is available also, as rabbits are plentiful and the squirrel hunting will get better and better as the trees grow. Well established food plots, and a great interior road system offer great deer hunting, which will only get better over time as the young oaks begin to drop acorns. Massive shed horns have been found on the property and it is connected by additional WRP tracts and travel corridors to a large block of land approximately 2 miles away that is intensively managed for trophy whitetails with 160”-180” B&C class bucks taken fairly regularly. The same group has been leasing this property for many years which speaks for itself of the hunting. If all of this is not enough for you there are several other public areas close by that offer great fishing and hunting opportunity. Spring Bayou Management Area offers over 12,000 acres of great fishing and hunting, and the closest boat launch is about 3 miles from the gate. The closest Red River boat launch is about 15 minutes away. Lake Ophelia NWR and Grand Cote NWR are 20-25 minutes away for the bowhunting enthusiast, and for history buffs Marksville State Commemrative Area and Fort Derussy are nearby.
Very rarely does a recreational property combine easy access, fishing, duck, deer, and small game hunting. This one has it all in one of Louisiana’s most desirable areas….Avoyelles Parish. Don’t let this one slip by. Asking price is $3000 per acre.
For more information or to schedule a personal tour of the property, please call Carl Foreman at 318-481-0092 or Troy Thompson at 318-447-7676 or 318-876-2622. Licensed by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.

The Description of my rare Private land, Gated property was once part of a larger Plantation and includes a large home with 700 acres of rolling hills and boasts one of the finest wildlife habitats in the area. Trophy deer and turkey are abundant throughout the property. My property has been professionally managed for Trophy Whitetail Deer for the past 10 years. The current Louisiana State Record Turkey was taken on this property 2 years ago. Located in East Feliciana Parish along Thompson's Creek, just minutes north of the Baton Rouge Airport. With a total of 13,000 square foot under roof ( 8,000 square feet of living area) my home is one of a kind. It is a three story antebellum style home with all the amenities including 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths, all walk-in closets, living room, formal dining room, game room, bar, office, large fireplaces and kitchen including all high end built-in appliances. The entire tract can be driven in my SUV, all the way back to the beach on Thompson's Creek across from the Bluffs Golf Course. Ten large food plots with insulated, carpeted box stands are spread out throughout the place. There are plenty of deer, turkey, and small game. Duck hunting on 400 acres of leased land at the back of the property is also available when I choose to hunt for ducks. I have two lakes, one on each side of my house. One is stocked with Florida bass and hybrid bream, the other with striped bass and hybrid bream. I have a metal shop/barn with two John Deere tractors (air-conditioned, radio and CD) and a bulldozer.
