63. Horinin Temple and Graveyard in Tsutsujigaoka, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan
Horinin Temple and Graveyard in Tsutsujigaoka, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan
Late afternoon I was coming home and saw from afar the turret high pagoda. Towered over the environment, so it was hard to miss. It turned out that the great pagoda stands in the middle (in Japanese reality) cemetery - Horinin Temple. In addition to the pagoda there were also other interesting buildings. But it was late afternoon and the cemetery seemed to be closed. But once I will go to Horinin Temple again, to show you this pretty amazing and beautiful cemetery.

120. Walking through Toris in Horinin Shrine at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan
Walking through Toris in Horinin Shrine at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan. I'm in the complex Horinin in Sendai City. This beautiful place caught my attention with very tall Pagoda. But here there are also other things that you probably will watch with me welcomed. Now I inviting you for a short walk through four Tori (gates) to a Buddhist Shrine. On the left you can see the Japanese cemetery. A statue depicting a mother and child. In the background mentioned by me tall Pagoda, which towers over the whole complex. I do not know what is the role of this building. In front of us there are these gates (Tori) I mentioned. We'll get through four Toris. On booth sides of our path are stylish lanterns to illuminate the path at night. I'm going slowly so as not to shake the camera. Forgive me for the rate. Each gate (Tori) is one blessing, but to me it would not apply, because at the end I do not call a special bell, do not bow and do not clap my hands. Or maybe should I? At the end, Buddhism is the only religion that I can tolerate. In front of me said earlier Shrine with a bell on a rope, which I should jerk.

125. Entering Myoshinin Temple at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan
Entering Myoshinin Temple at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan. I invite you for a short walk through Myoshinin Temple in the center of Sendai City. This beautiful temple is situated almost in the center of the city of a million, but inside you totally did not feel that, if do not count the sounds coming from the busy street. The entrance to the temple is guarded by two wooden guards. A little scary. Let's go inside. In the midst waiting for us a typical Japanese garden captivating with its beauty. Beauty of this place captivated me totally. In the corner of the temple stands a small Shrine, which is keep by two stone foxes. This wooden Shrine also captivated me with its beauty and precision of execution by skilled Japanese artisans. See you in the next video.

Sakura in Mikamine Park at Nishitaga, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan. Bike ride in the Mikamine Park in Sendai City. A beautiful, sunny day made me a trip to the Mikamine Park - wonderfully located - on a hilltop - park with magnificent cherry trees. It was a very windy day, and the driveway was steep, but I do not regret. For such sights and sensations I falled in love in Japan as a teenager. There's nothing I'm saying. I invite you to ride through the Mikamine Park in Sendai City.

Ubutama Shrine complex is situated on the tens meter hill, which offers a nice view of Ko-eji district and the rest of Sendai City. There are a lot of trees here, as in the city of trees. I'm passing the historic Toe-ree gate. There are a few Toe-ree here. Another and very old wooden gate... I'm approaching the main shrine and a sympathetic monk. See you in my next movie.

Cemeteries, the new place to be in Japan
Graveyard tourism is growing in Japan. More and more yuong people and families go hunting for the graves of celebrities and historical figures. They've been given the nickname haka milers -- a reference to those who accumulate frequent flyer miles. A natural-sound version of an AFPTV report.
