Places to see in ( Mesa - USA )
Mesa is a city just east of Phoenix, in Arizona. Mesa Grande Cultural Park is home to a giant, centuries-old ceremonial mound, and artifacts of the ancient Hohokam people. The Arizona Museum of Natural History exhibits dinosaur skeletons and archaeological finds. The nearby i.d.e.a. Museum offers hands-on artistic and scientific exhibits for kids. Mesa Arts Center presents theater, musicals and contemporary art.
Mesa is the third-largest city in Arizona, after Phoenix and Tucson, and the 36th-largest city in the US. The city is home to 439,041 people as of 2010 according to the Census Bureau. Mesa is home to numerous higher education facilities including the Polytechnic campus of Arizona State University.
Mesa employs a grid system for street numbering that is different from that used in Phoenix and other portions of the metropolitan area. Center Street, running north to south, bisects Mesa into eastern and western halves and serves as the east and west numbering point of origin within Mesa. Streets west of Center St., such as W. University Drive or W. Main St. are considered to be in West Mesa, whereas streets east of Center St., such as E. University or E. Main St., are considered to be in East Mesa Country Club Drive, running north to south and bisecting Mesa into east and west sections, is located 0.5 miles (800 m) west of Center St, and serves as the jurisdictional boundary between Arizona's 5th and 6th congressional districts.
Mesa was founded in January 1878 by Mormon (Latter-day Saint or LDS) pioneers and its population is still roughly one-tenth Mormon. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints operates one of its oldest temples in Mesa (the Mesa Arizona Temple), and the city is a hub for Latter-day Saints residing in the Phoenix Metro area. Mesa is one of the United States' fastest-growing cities, and currently ranks as the 37th-largest. 2006 Census Bureau estimates put the city's population at 460,155. The city has a larger population than better-known United States cities such as Cleveland, Miami, Minneapolis, Saint Louis, or Saint Paul.

Hello every one, here is the chance to own what I think is one of the nicest VW Westfalias in the Northwest.. This van runs, drives and works well. The documented NEW with pictures and receipts. *New Brakes, Rotors, Calipers, Wheel bearings and brake fluid. *New Brake Master Cylinder and Clutch Master *New GO WESTY refrigerator elimination kit. *New Passenger Side Cylinder Head with: new lifters, valve cover gaskets, push rods, push rod seals, valve train and plugs *New Tune-up Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Fuel lines, Filter and oil change with High quality Molly oil for VWs ($15.00 per qt) *New Paint on the top with the new Westfalia stickers and a new German complete top seal kit. *New headliner, new LED lights. *New Battery * New bumper stays The stove comes on, all lights work inside on 110vlt or 12vlt, the camper heater works well, interior is emasculate, front driver seats have some wear and tear, the carpets are above average for the year. Tires are less then 40%, rims look nice, over all the Paint looks nice for the year. However in some spots on the slider and other areas there are rust trails that stained the paint. Nothing massive but they are visible when you are looking close. The doors all open and close as they should, the slider door does not close all the way at the top at rear corner needs adjusting, The curtains and the bedding are in amazing shape. The top goes up and down as it should and locks into place with no hiccups. the canvas is in great shape although it does have a patch on the drivers side, but it looks real good and it was done right. The stove works as should, the water pump for the sink is missing but everything else is there. I never wanted to use the pump anyways I always brought water to wash up. can not do dishes or anything else with it its waaay to small lol. All the lights on the exterior work well, high and low beams work too. Windows roll up and down, Heater Fan works but does not blow hot air for a long time when driving. I used 12volt cig lighter heater. Or cabin heater. The van shifts as it should no grinding no hesitation, motor has lots of power. For a 30+ year old van is has minor rock chips ect. SHIPPING: I can help with shipping, getting it loaded and secured and I can even help get a quote to your area. But paying for shipping and all the paper work stuff will solely rest on you buyer, I will forward the shipping info the dispatcher info ect. AS WITH ALL AUTOS OR MERCHINDISE SOLD IN WASHINGTON STATE YOU WILL PAY SALES TAXES AND WE WILL COLLECT THEM FROM YOU AT TIME OF SALE. All out of state sales you will not have to pay sales taxes to us but you may when you get it to your prospective state. The van is sold AS IS with no warranty or guarantee of any kind what so ever. I have tons of pictures of this van, from the pictures of the motor work, to painting the top and the brake work too!!! I will send all additional Pictures VIA text or Email 24 hours a day!!!! 700 Pound Snake Pulled out of Lake in North Carolina
Giant 700 pound snake caught in lake in Proctor, North Carolina. The giant man eating python was measured at 98 feet long. Police were contacted to see if there have been any recently filed missing person reports as a snake this big could have surely eaten a human.
This giant snake is massive and just gorgeous, but it didn't take long to find out that the STORY behind it... was fake, just another hoax.
While the image is indeed real, I think the size of the giant snake could have been exaggerated due to the camera angle
Nevertheless, this snake is still huge, but where did it come from? The markings on it's skin looks similar to that of a reticulated python native to Southeast Asia. After playing around with a little Google translate, the mystery was finally solved.
This giant python came from Indonesia and after some rough translating, it turns out that it was discovered this last Thanksgiving near the village of Belinyu City. It was found by accident by a group of construction workers who severely injured the reptile while knocking down a large dead tree in which the python was sleeping inside of. The workers put the dying snake out of it's misery and buried it.
It's sad to see such an incredible animal killed, especially one that could have been a new world record size. I wish there were more pictures so we could get a better idea of just how large it was.
I really enjoyed learning about this amazing snake, if you guys have any cool wildlife stories or interesting animals that you think I might enjoy, tell me about it on Facebook
