Kite trip tips: Hua Hin, Thailand
We spent another Christmas far from home. No snow, no family, but lots of friends, kiting and fun!
Hua Hin is 3 hours drive from Bangkok and with its white sandy beach and warm water is a perfect place for kitesurfing. From December to February the wind was blowing from the North, bringing big waves and the water level was higher, from February we had bigger beach, smoother conditions and warm wind from the South.
When we were not on the water, we went up to the monkey mountain, or we were looking around with our bikes. There are many wonderful places to see, much local dish to try and great people to meet with. We had such a good time!

kitesurfing at the beginning of Southwind which came a bit late this year (beginning of March). Steady wind, warm clear water from the south and extra wide beach is a welcome treat for kiteboarder here in thailand.
