Huntington Dog Beach
In this episode of Cheap Family Travel ( Nick Regan, Maggie, and Kate visited one of their favorite cheap destinations, Huntington Dog Beach. The Huntington Dog Beach at Huntington Beach in California is a great place to give your dog exercise and to watch your dog play in the surf and on the sand. This dogs beach is one of the most pet friendly beaches you'll find, as it's a mile of open sand and surf for dogs and dog lovers to play and interact. Dogs can run freely along the beach and into the ocean. Located just north of Goldenwest Ave. on Pacific Coast Highway, the Huntington Beach Dog Beach is a dog lover's paradise because dogs are happy and the beach is filled with nothing but dog people. You'll love spending a day with your dog walking on the beach, playing fetch with balls and Frisbees, or just having fun with other dogs and their owners. Huntington Dog Beach, along with the Huntington Beach Dog Park, is a great way to spend a cheap day, as everything, including the dog poop bags, is free, except for the metered parking. You can spend hours there for just a few dollars for parking. Nick, Regan, Maggie, and Kate of CheapFamilyTravel go to the dog beach often, and it is a favorite place for the entire family, including our chocolate lab, Teagan.
