Cottonwood AZ - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Ferdinand Benedictine Monastery Tour
Take a tour of our Benedictine monastery, located in Ferdinand, Indiana. The Sisters of St. Benedict of Ferdinand, Indiana, live the 1500-year-old monastic tradition of the Rule of St. Benedict, a spiritual path for finding God in the circumstances of daily life.
The community was founded in 1867 when four sisters came to Ferdinand from Covington, Kentucky, to teach the children of German immigrants. Over the years, the needs of a changing world created new opportunities for the sisters to serve. Yet one reality remains constant — the sisters continue to faithfully live out their commitment to Benedictine life and to guide and support others seeking God.
Discover God in the everyday. With us.

April 8, 2012 Russia_Catholics, Protestants celebrate Easter Sunday in Moscow
Protestant and Roman Catholic churches around Moscow are holding Easter Sunday services, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This year, Western Christian denominations are celebrating Easter a week earlier than Russian Orthodox believers.
Paolo Pezzi, Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Mother of God in Moscow, led a service at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary.
Worshipers brought in eggs decorated with colorful patterns, in line with Easter traditions.
Easter Sunday is preceded by Lent, a 40-day period of fasting and prayer.

NAH Merges Medical Centers
March 6, 2014 - NAZ Today discusses NAH's planned for a merger of medical centers. Northern Arizona Healthcare hopes to strategically merge Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center into one cohesive unit. This integration to unify NAH eliminates nine administrative jobs which is a small consolation compared to the 3,000 employees of both medical centers. This merging of centers ensures a continuously high level of care provided to patients. In order for NAH to stay competitive in providing excellent healthcare, this realignment was critical.

2015 PDCA Industry Award - Commercial Decorative
In 2013, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Minneapolis wanted to celebrate its 75th anniversary with something special. They decided to make the church’s beautification a priority, a goal that had been abandoned some years before due to financial reasons. After an extensive bidding process, Conrad Schmitt Studios was given the task of staying on budget, while still achieving the grand image that the church’s founder had in mind.
Using digital renderings and a variety of samples, Conrad Schmitt Studios ensured they were giving the client what they wanted. Their attention to detail earned plaudits from the local newspaper, saying “Jennifer Moore of Conrad Schmitt Studios matched the original marble’s color and design so closely that the difference between the marble and the wall is indistinguishable.”
Congratulations Conrad Schmitt Studios! Your attention to detail and thorough execution has earned you the 2015 Commercial Decorative Award.
