Indira Gandhi rashtriya manav sangrahalaya (IGRMS) is located at shymla hills Bhopal and is managed by tourism and culture ministry, Government of India.It is first and one of the largest museums of Indian in humankind.It houses in indoor and outdoor museums showcasing history of evolution, growth and development of humans.The major sections of museum are:
(1) Traditional technology park:Ancient techniques used by humans for day to day routine work.
(2) Vithi sankul : Indoor museum showcasing models of evolution,growth , developmentof mankind, thier settlements,art and culture.
(3) Open air exhibition : Places of abode,their settlements,various day to day used equipment of tribes of India and the world.
(4) Tribal gallery : showcasing houses and things used by different tribes of India through pictures.
(5) Museum shop: Texts, publication,audio and videos related to different works of IGRMS can be purchased from the museum shop.

Good place for outing with friends or family..!!!I enjoyed a lot....Good for educational tours... wonderful display of human growth and resilience. We have forgotten much of our heritage. Here you will witness the places and the cultures all the tribal communities of India live.
The campus is very clean and its like a never ending place with hundreds of cultures to visit and learn from. A straight road takes you to a building where the museum, which is also very humongous place to visit with clothes, utensils, the instruments and the things they use in their daily lives.
After completing the museum you can visit the open grounds and hills where all the sculptures are made. You will surely enjoy your whole day. After completing it, move towards the back side and you will exit in front of the Lake view. Lovely right? A perfect place to spend your day. Its a whole campus situated in shyamala hills.
